Jesus, Who Is God, Has Come

Jesus is called the “Word”, which refers to Him being God. He brought forth His light into the world the moment He came into the world. He visited Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and others throughout the Old Testament. Before His birth, Jesus was with the Father and the angels in heaven, while doing His Father’s will on earth. He is also our Lord and by the hand of the Father created all things heaven and earth. There is life on this earth because of Jesus and His creative hand. Although this world is full of darkness, the light is able to shine through it. However, only those who are for Him will experience this light in their lives, where others will never comprehend it. It is written, “in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” (John 1:1-5) All praise and honor to Jesus who is Lord of all. Let His light so shine in our lives.

It is sad to know that only few people knew Jesus as God when He was on the earth. He showed forth the fruits of Him being the promised Messiah, but that was not enough for even His people in Israel to know Him either. However, there were some people then that did receive Jesus as Lord of their lives. The same things happen now with the very elect of God. To those people, they are Jesus’s adopted sons and daughters. It is written concerning Jesus, “He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” (John 1:10-14) Jesus is the only begotten Son of the Father, and through the Holy Spirit, we are blessed to have His glorious presence in our lives like in the past. Amen.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that we will remember You all throughout the year. And not just remember You but come to know You personally as our Lord and Savior. Truly, we are able to comprehend Your light the moment we submit our lives to You. I have done this and will never go back to the life I once lived. You mean too much to me now to go back to living a sinful lifestyle. Lord, I can see. You have opened my eyes to Your goodness and light. This same light shines brightly in my soul, of which I desire to also shine forth for all to see. It is my desire to bring more souls unto You, Lord, and by shining forth in Your light, people will see the light and glorify our Father in heaven. My message is not contentious, but a simple message of hope. That through You alone, Jesus, we can be saved. Your love is for everyone in this world and I want to get Your love in more people’s lives and homes before their time is done. What we need is Your light shining in different homes, so that children will be raised up to know You, God, and not go astray. Otherwise, we have people in this future generation living an atheist lifestyle with no hope. Help us, God. I trust in You, Lord. I love You, Jesus. I give You praise and honor. Amen.
