Jesus, Who Is God, Has Come

Jesus is the light of the world. He came into the world and only a few people came unto Him. It is now our time to submit to God.

Today’s Prayer (12/23/2021)

Oh Lord, help us to keep our eyes fixed upon You during this Christmas season and every day of the year also. So many people are making money on this holiday through Santa Clause, Elf’s, reindeer, and the North Pole, and it saddens me. Even people who profess to know You tell their kids that Santa is coming and to be good. Not to be good for You, but for a fictional character. This is idolatry and people cannot even see this as a problem. And so we have people bringing their kids to the mall and other places, in order to sit on Santa’s lap. Young kids do this and tell him what they most desire for Christmas and in life. What mockery this is to You and Your throne. Truly, these parents that lead these children to do this don’t know You at all, for if they did, they would stop telling their kids these lies. And instead, they would teach their children to seek You with their whole hearts. Not to a man that is not real, but to You, my Lord. I love You, God, and wish that people throughout the world would also learn to love You. So please come and cast these idols and false gods out from people’s lives. This I pray. Amen.

Hosea 11:1

Hosea 11:1 (KJV)
1 When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.

Today’s Prayer (12/22/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that we will begin to seek You with our whole hearts. There are so many things in the Bible that You wish to show us, but because people find their desires in other things, Your wisdom is kept from their knowledge. These same people have not come to know You yet for salvation, even though most will claim to. It is Your word that is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Because I read the Bible daily, my desire to pray is increased. Because I study out each chapter in the Bible, my desire to follow You is increased. Because I write on the chapters I read, I listen to the still small voice of the Holy Spirit and obey. You are everything to me, God. I want less of me and more of You in my life. Give me more and more wisdom, like You did for Solomon. I don’t need the riches in this world to be happy, but Your redeeming blood. Thank You for coming into this world, Jesus, and saving a wretch like me. I was lost, but then You found me. I love You, God. Amen.

Genesis 49:8-10

Genesis 49:8-10 (KJV)
8 Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father’s children shall bow down before thee.
9 Judah is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?
10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

Today’s Prayer (12/21/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that people will begin to search the scriptures and discover Your truths for themselves. There are hidden gems all throughout the Bible that people are missing out on in their life. We have people so preoccupied with the things of this world that they only pick up and read Your words on occasion. It may have been a lamp unto their feet at one time in their lives, but it has since died out. And now everything is as they want to see it, not the way You wish to help people see. Your truth is now looked down upon, while false teachings of this world are looked up to. I wish this was not the case in supposed Christian homes, but it is. Lord, come now and wake these people up from their slumber. During this Christmas season, my only desire is to lead people into discovering You more and more, especially in remembrance of Your birth. Then, can people begin to look to You in faith during other times of the year also, while also reading the Bible daily. This I pray, in Jesus’s Name. Amen.

Micah 5:2

Micah 5:2 (KJV)
2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

Today’s Prayer (12/20/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that people will remember You during this Christmas season. Right now there are so many ads on TV about Santa Clause, reindeer, the north pole, and movies and music associated with all this. What is very sad is that so-called Christians bring their kids to sit on Santa’s lap, while telling them that Santa is coming for Christmas. This is just hard to believe, God. I wish that I could help every person that says they believe in You, that the only good thing to do on Christmas is to remember Your birth, Jesus. If people could simply learn to do this during this season, then they would learn to appreciate what You have done for them every day of the year. Thankfully, You have come and saved me. All I wish to do now is lead people to You, Jesus. Your Spirit is in me and this desire to serve You comes from Your mighty hand. I love You, Lord. Lead me all my days. I trust in You, God. I love You. Amen.

Isaiah 9:6

Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Today’s Prayer (12/19/2021)

Oh Lord, It is so good to come before You this day. I am in awe just to be in Your presence. You have done great things in my life Jesus, and I gave You thanks for everything. I know that long ago, You were born of the virgin Mary through the power of the Holy Spirit. You fulfilled the very prophesy in Isaiah, chapter 7, which said that Immanuel would come into the world through a virgin, which is interpreted, God with us. And although it is recorded in Matthew that You are God with us, people still deny the fact that You are God. It is hard to believe that this can be true for anyone who reads the Holy Bible. Surely, Your words are a lamp unto my feet and I can never read enough of what You can teach me. It has become a daily routine to jump into the next chapter in the Bible and study out every verse thoroughly. Through prayer do I learn through the Holy Spirit. I would never wish to gain man-made beliefs through reading the Bible on my own and then deceive others in the same way. Therefore, I only ask that You teach me. I am open to Your wisdom. To change from wrong beliefs to Yours is all I’ve asked for. Lead me, Lord. I trust in You, God. Thank You for saving me. I love You, Lord. Amen.

Isaiah 7:10-15

Isaiah 7:10-15 (KJV)
10 Moreover the Lord spake again unto Ahaz, saying,
11 Ask thee a sign of the Lord thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.
12 But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the Lord.
13 And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?
14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

Today’s Prayer (12/18/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that we will remember Your birth, not only in this Christmas season but every day of our life. I look to You, Lord, and bless You. Come and be a part of my life and my family forevermore. I want to be with You in heaven, but I know that I still have things to do on this earth. Surely, many people will regret that chance in accepting You as Lord when they die. Although I fall at times because of temptation, I will not dwell in sin, for living for You means more to me than what the lusts of the flesh bring. So open people’s hearts to desire something more in this life. What You offer us is so much better than we can accept through money or other things in this world. I am always left thirsty and hungry without Your constant presence in my life. I love You, Jesus. Because You came into my life I have much to give thanks. Not to men, but to You, my God. I will glorify in no person, but in You, my God. Praise Yahuah, who is the King of kings and Lord of all Lords. People can lift themselves up in their pride, but they will never prevail without You. I trust in You, God, even my high tower and fortress. I give You glory and praise. I love You, Lord. Help me decrease as You increase in my life. Amen.

Luke 2:15-20

Luke 2:15-20 (KJV)
15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.
16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.
17 And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.
18 And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.
19 But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.
20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.

Today’s Prayer (12/17/2021)

Oh Lord, it is with praise and honor that I come to you in remembrance of Your birth. Yes, Jesus, throughout the year I look to You in faith, but this time of year is different. I love it when Easter comes around and I can tell people about the cross and resurrection. I don’t celebrate this holiday as the world does, but use it to tell people about what You did for us on the cross. How Your blood covers our sins and makes us clean when we repent. And because You rose from the grave the third day, death was defeated. This means that You will one day raise us up into newness of life in the resurrection of the dead, which will be amazing to be a part of. As for this time of year, all I can think about is Your birth. The world tries to get people to forget about You and to think about Santa instead, but that will never happen in my household. As for me and my family, we only celebrate Christmas in a way that we can remember You and nothing else. It is because You came into this world, that I have forgiveness and mercy. Thank You for saving me and also members of my family. I am so grateful to be a part of Your kingdom. I love You, Lord. Lead me this day and forever. I trust in You. Amen.

Luke 2:1-5

Luke 2:1-5 (KJV)
1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed.
2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

Today’s Prayer (12/16/2021)

Oh Lord, I give You praise and honor. I no longer can keep these praises to myself. All the world must know that You are God and that all other gods are false in Your sight. I surrender to You, God. My heart is for You. I love Your ways. Lead me in the ways of righteousness and holiness. Cast every wicked thing from my life and fill me with Your love. As I walk, guide me in Your bounteous light. Keep my feet on solid ground, that I might not fall. My flesh is weak, but the Holy Spirit in me makes me strong to resist temptation. So please come and lead me from temptation, that I might not quench the Spirit. I have fallen so many times, but because of Your mercy they are in the past. As my sins are now left in the dark, cast them off from me forever. Your Spirit is what I need to declare the good of Your gospel to every person in my city, nation, and all the world. I love You, Jesus. You are my God, and I worship You in this season and forevermore. Amen.

Luke 1:46-50

Luke 1:46-50 (KJV)
46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,
47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
49 For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.
50 And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.
