Bezaleel And His Work For The Tabernacle: Part 2

It is Bezaleel that created the altar that would be used for burnt offerings, and much more. This was done outside the walls of the tabernacle. This altar’s importance would be as important as the ark. For these sacrifices were necessary for the forgiveness of sins for the people. Thereon would lie a spotless lamb, of which would be able to take the place temporarily for their sins, although this sacrifice would continue because animals could not finalize the payment for their sins. Only Jesus’s sacrifice could suffice, being the Lamb of God, who came to take away the sins of the world one and for all. Now speaking of this man, Bezaleel, it is said that “he made the altar of burnt offering of shittim wood: five cubits was the length thereof, and five cubits the breadth thereof; it was foursquare; and three cubits the height thereof.” (Exodus 38:1) Surely, God was most pleased with his actions, as were the people. Now, wouldn’t it be amazing if this was you? It can be, but only if you step out in faith for God.

Speaking of the altar, Bezaleel made it in this fashion. “And he made the horns thereof on the four corners of it; the horns thereof were of the same: and he overlaid it with brass. And he made all the vessels of the altar, the pots, and the shovels, and the basons, and the fleshhooks, and the firepans: all the vessels thereof made he of brass. And he made for the altar a brasen grate of network under the compass thereof beneath unto the midst of it.” (Exodus 38:2-4) He speaks a ton of how it was made in the next verses, but one thing you need to know is that “Bezaleel the son Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made all that the Lord commanded Moses.” (Exodus 38:22) Notice that this man knew of what God commanded Moses in the building of the tabernacle. He then stepped out in faith to God’s for the building of it. This is unheard of today when it comes to the building of God’s kingdom on earth. However, this does not have to be the case. God will use you if you let Him. Amen.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that people will come to You in order to be used by You in Your kingdom. There is so much more work to be done before Your coming, Lord, and I pray that people will step up to the plate. I love to serve You, but I am only one person, and to reach the number of people I desire for Your kingdom, it would take way too long. So God, call your willing servants, that they may also go out in the harvest with me and others in their own cities. In this valley, the amount of people witnessing on the streets is minimal. Even in Utah, it is the same way. Lord, Patrick and I can only reach so many people while on our mission trips to Utah. I wish that it would be easier to present these evangelical opportunities to people, but too many people are busy. So I pray for more servants in the harvest. It is white, already to harvest, but the people are missing. You have energized my soul, but I am hoping for more help. May people step up all around the world for You. I love You, God. I trust in You, Lord. Amen.
