Mormon Dilemma: Praise To The Man

There is a hymn in the Mormon hymnbook called “Praise To The Man” that needs to be exposed for the blasphemy and idolatry therein. It uses words like. 1. Praise – express warm approval or admiration. 2. Blessed – worthy of adoration. 3. Hail – cheer, salute, or greet; welcome. 4. Extol – worship, exalt in special praise. 5. Honor – high respect; great esteem. 6 Revere – deep respect or admiration. These keywords are directed toward one man and that is Joseph Smith. IT reads, “Praise to the man who communed with Jehovah! Jesus anointed that Prophet and Seer. Blessed to open the last dispensation, Kings shall extol him, and nations revere. Hail to the Prophet, ascended to heaven! Traitors and tyrants now fight him in vain. Mingling with Gods, he can plan for his brethren; Death cannot conquer the hero again. Praise to his mem’ry, he died as a martyr; Honored and blest be his ever great name! Long shall his blood, which was shed by assassins, Plead unto heav’n while the earth lauds his fame. Great is his glory and endless his priesthood. Ever and ever the keys he will hold. Faithful and true, he will enter his kingdom, Crowned in the midst of the prophets of old. Sacrifice brings forth the blessings of heaven; Earth must atone for the blood of that man. Wake up the world for the conflict of justice. Millions shall know “Brother Joseph” again.” The keywords are highlighted above. You can see how much Mormons worship a man named Joseph Smith and also love to sing about Him, which is sickening.

I’ve taken keywords from the lyrics and added the definitions to help you know how Mormons feel about Joseph Smith. They would say, “sing songs of praise to Joseph Smith, for he is worthy. Great is His glory and priesthood. Praise to his memory, for he died as a martyr. The earth will atone for His blood. Lift him up in the highest admiration. We bless Joseph Smith for his ever great name. He opened the last dispensation. He is worthy of our adoration. Hail Joseph Smith for he ascended to Godhood and now mingles with Gods. We cheer and solute. Extol Joseph Smith with singing and worship. He is honored above all men. His blood was shed by assassins. Lift Him up in the highest respect. Nations revere Joseph Smith. He is our hero, for death could not stop the work He has begun.” Can you see the blasphemy? This is in comparison to what Christians say about Jesus. It reads, “Sing songs of praise to the Lord, Jesus, for He is worthy. Great is His glory and endless is His priesthood. He died for our sins on the cross. Lift Him up in the highest admiration. We bless Jesus’s ever great name. He started the new covenant and His church. Jesus is worthy of our adoration. Hail king Jesus for He rose and ascended to His Father. Cheer and solute Him. Extol the Lord! Give him the proper worship that He deserves. Jesus is honored above all men. His blood was shed for our sins. Give Him the highest respect. Nations revere Jesus, for he is more than our hero, but God. Death could not stop Him, for He is alive.”

“I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works. And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness. They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness. The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee.” (Psalm 145:1-10) Those who love the Lord, Jesus, will also give Him the uttermost praise. He is the one person they will sing to and also give praise to. Because God has done great things in our lives, we speak of Him to as many people as we can. He is wonderful in all His works. The songs of David were not for any other person who has lived or died, but the Lord God Almighty. The same should go for any song in our hymnbook. For Mormons, aka Latter-Day Saints, to stand up for the song, “Praise To The Man” and also sing it with all their might, should tell you something. They are not only worshipping Joseph Smith, but he has become an idol to them also, where all idolators shall have their part in the lake of fire. Amen.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, You are worthy of all our praise.  You are blessed above all other people and worthy of our adoration and praise.  I hail You alone as the King of glory.  I extol the Lord.  You are alive and defeated the grave.  To love and honor You with all my heart, mind, and strength, is the lead I can do for You, Lord.  With the deepest respect and admiration I come to You now.  There is no one like You, God.  Any other god is an idol and needs to be torn down and tossed into the fire.  To say that anyone else is lifted up in their glory and priesthood is blasphemy to who You are and what You hold, Jesus.  You are the last high priest and nobody can take Your glory away from You.  Truly, there must be a special place in hell for people that try to take Your glory upon themselves and make themselves out to be Gods.  This is blasphemy in its finest.  What is sad, God, is that the Mormon church is teaching people that they can be exalted to Godhood when they die.  Even having their own planets.  They deny every teaching from the Bible that talks about not having any gods before us, and that there is no other god in the heavens above.  You stand alone, God.  Satan has tried to make himself out to be the god of this world, which many people have fallen for.  Lord, I pray that You will extinguish the lies in Mormonism on the day that You return or sooner.  Cause those churches and temples to crumble and fall.  Then, will they know that You stand against them.  I stand with You, God, not religion.  I love You, Jesus.  I trust in You.  Amen.
