Voting for our president of choice doesn’t always work out in our favor. But we keep the peace and trust in Jesus, our King.
Jesus was crucified that we might be saved. Every person who believes in Him can be forgiven and find mercy from the Lord.
Colossians 3:18-21 (KJV) 18 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. 19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. 20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. 21 Fathers, provoke not your […]
As wives submit to their husbands as unto the Lord, we love them the same way we love God. And we don’t let anger jeopardize this.
God desires that we are made clean. That our sins are washed away. This way our desires are changed to do his will instead.
Colossians 3:23,24 (KJV) 23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; 24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
It is time to exam ourselves to see if we are in the faith or not. This is under God’s standards and not our own.
Colossians 2:13,14 (KJV) 13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the […]
If you want to know exactly what Jesus did for us on the cross, know that it is spelled out for us all throughout the Bible, even in the Old and New testaments.
Though repentance is always a possibility for every person before him or her dies, most people will put this off until it is too late.
Paul is a great teacher in the Bible and not only taught the people in Ephesus about repenting of our evil speaking, but also when he wrote a letter to the Colossians.
One thing that was spoken by Paul to the Colossians above is “filthy communication out of your mouth”. Of which also James taught.
Colossians 2:16-18 (KJV) 16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. 18 Let no man […]
There is nothing wrong with doing good on a day that is evil for the world. Why is this? It is because doing this brings the light of Jesus into the world.
Colossians 2:8 (KJV) 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
As a believer in Christ, we should never let the traditions of this world, including holidays, warp how we feel about God and the things of this world.
Colossians 3:12,13 (KJV) 12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
If anything is broken now, God is able to mend those broken ties, by ushering in His love. We then can’t help but forgive all people.
Colossians 3:1-3 (KJV) 1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with […]
If there is one person that can help us live any differently, while being in this wicked world, it is the Lord God. Our willingness to serve Him, also brings in the Holy Spirit to guide us.
Colossians 1:21,22 (KJV) 21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled 22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
We as believers in Christ, are the members of His body. Each person has a gift from God, in which the Lord is able to use in His church.
Colossians 3:16-17 (KJV) 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the […]
As we’ve read in the verses in Exodus, chapter 20, we are not to worship anything but God, which excludes Mary, the saints and angels.
Please know that God is not a God of confusion. That is why he spoke to men throughout the Bible and taught them the right way to live their lives and to obey the Lord God.
It is during the time that God looked away and Jesus was to suffer on His own, is when He took upon Himself our sins.
Anyone that harms a child, has God’s wrath upon them. Only a person that repents of their sins and is made right with Jesus will be saved.
So let’s see if we can piece this all together for everyone to understand. Again Mormons state that Jesus and Lucifer are brothers but the Bible is clear that Jesus is His and our creator.
Colossians 1:19,20 (KJV) 19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; 20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
The Bible is clear that Jesus is God and also our judge and creator. He is our Lord God and deserves our praise and worship.
