Lord, I pray that I will never stop seeking You. I know that prayer and reading the bible is important, but living out my faith is necessary also. So keep me on the right path which leads to paradise in heaven. I do not wish to be apart from You but to always be with You. May my life be inline with Your standards and not my own. Help me know when I have gone off course, that I may repent and be drawn back to You in faith. It is my delight when I can be renewed in the Holy Spirit and then walk in Your light once again. On the other hand, it is not my desire to just say a prayer and not be meaningful about it. How awful this would be to just say that I checked in with you and that was enough. If I ever do this, Lord, please convict me of my sins, for I know that I have gone astray into a life of sin. Lord, to not want You in my life is evil speaking. So please guard my soul. Take me by the hand all my days and make me clean through Your blood. It is my desire that You will cast out every sin in my life and replace it with Your love. From the east to the west, rip out of my life anything that deifies the temple of the Holy Spirit, which is in me. I offer my life to You as a living sacrifice to serve You all my days. And if I am called Your son, while being adopted into Your kingdom, then I am the most blessed person of all. For there is nothing I’d rather have, then Your assurance of You being my Father, and I being Your son. I love You, Lord. You are my Savior and the rock, upon which I stand. Today’s Prayer (02/20/2020)
Oh Lord, I pray that we will all be like David and be open to confess our sins before You. We are all sinners and need Your blood to cover us, and I pray that more people will desire to come unto You in prayer. Help people know that there is mercy and grace for them that repent and draw near unto You. I know this to be true, for You have extended Your hand of mercy upon my life, even after all I had done against You. I was very wicked in the lusts of my flesh, but still You saw past all of that I had done and gave me another chance, just as You did for David. You heard my cries and Your compassion never failed me. You continued to lead me back home, even the times I would fall flat on my face. I may not have had Your armor to build me up yet, but still You picked me up each time and put me back on my feet again. It was You, God, that kept coming after me, which gave me hope and peace for my life ahead. I knew that I was not alone anymore, for You were going to be by my side all my days. If I am strengthened now and have Your armor to lead me from temptation, it is because You have built me up. Your mercy and forgiveness has caused me to know what You have taught in scripture and live for You also. And because my love for You has now grown like a son to my Father in heaven, I do not wish to hurt You anymore. All I wish is that You are happy about my life and are leading it now, not myself. When the end of my days come, I hope people remember that You were my rock my firm foundation. That You are my Savior, my God, and my best friend. Oh, how I love You, Lord. All I want to do is praise You. May the way I live my life honor You and give You great glory. Amen.

Oh Lord, in my sickness I cry out to You for healing. I know that the pain I am going through will only be for a time and a season, and then I will be with You forever. My life is short, I know it, so I will endure in my faith until the end of my days has come. There is nothing I’d rather live for, then for Your cause, oh Lord. I am happier when You have my back and not the world. I am so happy to receive your peace in the good times and bad. While in the world, I can go through sorrow, but not find relief. However, with You by my side, there is love, peace, joy, long-suffering, compassion, kindness, mercy, forgiveness, and best of all, Your healing touch. That is what I need now, oh God, and I know that You will deliver me. Either from the pains of sickness. or to be freed from pain, while being with You in heaven. Either way, I am made glad, for this life is meant to do Your will and not my own. If I have lived out my life for You and it is now complete, then I will rejoice, for soon, I will see You, God. No longer will Your presence be with me alone, but I will see You with my own eyes. Then, will I be with You, my God, for all eternity. I can’t wait to see Your face and then run as fast as I can into Your arms. This will be a glorious day to be with You and give You glory. I rejoice, for You are my God. Oh Lord, thank You for this new life. I am made clean because Your blood has covered me. I am no longer in darkness, for You have come into my life and lighted it up. You have given me strength that I didn’t even know existed. Wow, what a great God you are. You are my rock and my shield. I can do all things because You strengthen me daily. The enemy has no match to Your mighty hand in my life. Therefore, I cherish this moment to come unto You in Your presence. Thank You for allowing me to know You personally and to be a part of Your family, oh God. You are my Father, and I am Your son. Have Your way in my life, and I will obey. I may have once wondered through this life, while in darkness, but now I am guided by the Holy Spirit. You have not forsaken me but have given me and others that believe in You a comforter. I now have eyes to see and ears to hear You. In my cries, You have come to my rescue and have redeemed my soul from hell. My life was never destined to be apart from You, so You continued to reach out to me, and in my brokenness, I finally found You in prayer. I have been set free from all forms of addiction, that sin may no longer take over my life, but Your love alone. I love Your ways, oh God. I’d rather have You near than to have anything this world offers. Therefore, continue to bear me up and help me walk faithfully, even until the end of my life. Oh Lord, I pray that myself and others will discover You in an entirely new way. I am praying for salvation for every person that is now seeking Your hand and desires to be delivered from the current lifestyle they are in. So please come and direct their lives, as You direct mine. Help them discover what true joy is really like. When they find out what the Holy Spirit can do for them, then they will not want to turn back into their old way of living. In their brokenness, they will find out that You are merciful and kind. You have not forsaken us, but have willingly brought us into Your kingdom, that You may help us find the way. Thank You for extending Your arms of mercy out to me and for allowing me to be forgiven. I was once so far from You, but still You saw through what I was doing and saw my potential. Thank You, Lord. You have given me eyes to see and ears to hear You, and I rejoice just knowing that I am now safe. Even when the storms of life come my way, I know that You will be there by my side to help me through it all. I believe in You, Lord. Please forgive me for my sins this day. Oh Lord, I am so grateful for the atonement You made for our sins. Because of what You have done for us on the cross, there is no more sacrifice needed for sins. You already made a way that we might be forgiven because of the blood You shed, that no other blood would have to be shed again. Thank You, Lord. I am so grateful that You did come to this earth, in order to redeem Your people, even the gentiles that believe in You, from their sins. Because I am adopted in, I am able to experience the blessings that You have bestowed upon Your people. What a great gift, of which I cherish every day of my life. Thank You for allowing me to be a part of Your kingdom, God. I may have been defiant and not worthy to be in Your presence in the past, but now my heart has been changed. You have transformed my life, and now all I want to do is do Your will and not my own. It would be selfish to live out the lusts of my flesh any longer when I could be out doing work in Your harvest. People are hurting all around the world, and I am grateful that You have sent me and so many others to help them. We are Your hands and feet, and for You to move in our lives, brings us the greatest joy. I don’t have to have the best things in this world to be happy, but the best things that You have to offer me. These things that You offer I can take with me in heaven, of which I am much more happy with. Surely, the pleasure in this life will end, but Your love never ends. So be with me all my days. Oh Lord, I love You. I don’t just say this but mean it God. You are the best part of my life. No person or possession I own takes precedence over my love for You. For how can anything match the joy that You have delivered me. You are my greatest delight and I lift You up in praise. I know that if I have done anything good in this life, that it comes from You. In Your strength, I am able to care for needy and preach the gospel with boldness. Even Your commandments have become honey to my taste. I love to walk in Your ways and do as You say. Speak to me Lord, and I will obey. Whatever You wish to teach me, counsel me in, call me to do, ask me to help, comfort, pray for, love on, or teach, I am ready to answer Your call. Thank You so much for hearing my prayer two weeks ago and for helping this young lady give her life to You in prayer. I am so happy to know that she is reading the Bible daily now and cannot put it down. This is a testament about the Bible and how it is so powerful. Lord, the day that You first spoke to me I was in tears and ready for my next journey in life. I am now thrilled when I now hear Your voice, for You have something great in store for me. You are my God and I worship You. I am Your son and so blessed to be forgiven and have found grace and mercy in Your sight. I love You. Amen.

Lord, help us live out a life that glorifies Your Name. We know that we are incapable of doing this on our own and need Your help to accomplish this. So we ask that You strengthen us in the Holy Spirit. Build us up in the Word of God, that we may know what You say and abide in it. Help us understand the need to pray and find answers to life’s questions, and also experience healing for our lives and others. You can do so much for people that will just put their trust in You. It is like Your arms are open all day long, and are waiting for people to just reach out to You in prayer. Then, will You take them home and transform their lives. Surely, only You, Jesus, is the light of the world. No darkness is found in You at all, which gives me hope of living a life that is much better than even now. I may not be the best person, but I strive to live for You, oh Lord. I know that I have fallen into sin, but I am so sorry for these times that the Spirit is grieved. I do not wish to hurt You and our relationship any longer, so I pray for Your forgiveness and mercy. Since light is found in You, cast out all the darkness in my life and other people that pray this prayer. Give us over to goodly things that only come from heaven. Fill our lives with things that will benefit Your kingdom. Help us have clean thoughts and also live out our lives with morals. I know that as I abide in You, I will not fall back into my bad habits or addictions, for with You they are no more. In my old man, I had these instincts, but now I have things that are Spirit-led to do, which brings me joy. I do not wish to experience any more temporary pleasure in things, but only experience Your love that lasts. I love You, God. I praise You, Lord. Amen.

Oh Lord, I pray that Your presence will come into our lives, each day that we live. This way we will continue to make the best choices and stay on solid ground. You are our God and can do all things for our lives if we but believe. Thank You for the Bible. I am grateful to know what You have taught us in scripture, that I may go forth and walk out my faith knowing it is Your will and not my own. It is my desire to walk in Your light and no longer be taken over by the lusts of the flesh any longer. Help me put my sins behind me, that I may become Your disciple. What the enemy has done to me needs to stop, and only by You defending me at all times can this happen. Therefore, I call upon You now and forever for Your protection, dear Lord. Help me to walk out my faith and not be given over to temptation and death. Lead me from the darkness of this world, that I may be a light unto those around me. I may not have it all together, but with You, I am complete. You satisfy my soul. If I just have You to love me, I am blessed. I don’t need the things of this world to be happy, but only Your love. You are the reason why I have breathe, and I give You praise for waking me up each day. I love You, Lord. You are the greatest thing to ever happen to me. I wish I could tell everyone about the gospel truth of the cross and resurrection. May more people be open to learning about what You’ve done for them, that they will also be saved in Your kingdom. Lord, it is my prayer that people will not say things that will hurt others, but uplift them as You lift us up. Who is it for me to judge people, for You are the judge, oh Lord. People have a soul like I do, and I do not wish to see them be torn down because of my actions. Instead, Lord, I will bring them to You through the Holy Spirit. Give me Your words to speak and I will declare it. I will be a light to the lost generation, that they may discover You for themselves. Help me to not start fights, but conversations that end in the person coming to know You, Lord. I wish to have people know Your love and then have them want to have it in their lives also. I would be selfish if I kept what You offer me all to myself. And Lord, I know that many people that do live apart from You are in sin, but may the Spirit convict them of their sins and not me. I wish to bring them to You, that You may start doing a mighty work in their lives. And if people that I meet are in mourning, because of a lost loved one, help me to comfort them, as You comfort me. As I pray for these people, wrap Your arms around them also, they may find peace. If at any time my flesh wants to speak out and say things that are negative, please catch me, even when those thoughts are in my mind. Give me counsel in that moment, that what I do speak will uplift the person and not tear them down. I wish to be there for people, and not be a burden. Thank You for delivering peace to my life. You are my healer and my Savior. I may have lived a defiant life against You, but still have You forgiven me. Thank You, Lord. I was lost and You found me. You breathed in me new life. If I am anything of worth now, it is because You have made me this way. I give You all the glory. I love You. Amen.

Oh Lord, I love You and only wish that my children would love on You as well. May they come to know You like I have come to know You personally over the years. Shine down Your light upon me, that they may see You in me. Help me be an example of what it really means to be a Christian, that they will see Your love in me and want to know how to have this love in their lives also. I know that I can only be an example of the faith and try to raise them that way, but my daughters need to choose for themselves to give their lives to You. I just pray that they will see the need to trust in You and not just believe in You, because I do. I don’t want my kids to have faith simply because of their parent’s faith, but decide to have faith for themselves, which leads to salvation. So even at a young age, give them over to know what is right and wrong in Your sight. Help them not be confused with things, because the world teaches differently. May they know that what the Bible says is the true authority and if things go against what You have said, then it is wrong. All I wish is that they would want to know what You, and then follow You in faith. We only have such little time in this life before our life is up, so I pray that my daughters will give their heart, mind, and soul to following You before that time comes. It is my prayer that when their time does come, and then judgment awaits them, that they will be ready. Then, will there be only tears of joy to follow. For they are now with the king of glory forevermore. And I will be with them, for as believers, we are all made sons and daughters in Your kingdom. I also pray for my wife, that she will be with us in heaven also. I love You, Jesus. I trust in You. Amen.

Lord, I am sorry if I have portrayed myself to be something for You, but have not lived up to it in the inside. I know that many times I have said things are wrong, according to Your Word, when I myself have had that same issue. And it breaks my heart when I go against Your will. So cleanse me this day of all my sins. Fill my life with Your love. Help me walk in Your light. I do not wish to only appear righteous but to be made this way through Your presence that is within me. I know that I cannot do anything good, if You are not the one leading me. So please lead me in Your light. Help me to not fall into temptation, but build me up in Your armor. My flesh is weak, but I am strong with You in my life. I can do all things when You have a hold of my hand. It is my desire to not only appear like I am Christian but really live this way from the inside out. This is my life long desire. I am sorry if I have not met the expectations You have had for me, up until now. Please forgive me, Lord. I no longer wish to make a scene, but humbly do as You have called me. It is better for people to see You in me than to want to follow what I do. What is there about me that can save them? Nothing. Only You can save us, dear Lord. Therefore, may the Holy Spirit be with me always. Help me understand the Bible better, that more people will be drawn to You. I wish to see more souls be saved and go to heaven one day. So convict people of their sins, as You have convicted me of my own. May they also desire to be washed in Your blood. Cleanse them, oh Lord. Bring them into Your presence and lead them on the path of righteousness. This is the path that You have placed me on and I am so grateful. I love You, Lord. Thank You for forgiving a wretch like me. Oh Lord, I pray that people will prepare for Your second coming and not delay it. It would be very sad to see people that I know and love not be saved because they put off serving You, but the things of this world instead. It is true that where people put there heart and soul in, that is also who they become in life. Truly, the majority of people are not doing as You command them, but only doing as the lusts of their flesh desires. This really is frightening to know, Lord. You know who I am talking about, and I pray that people will desire to repent and then be refreshed through Your blood. Then, will they know how sinful they really were, and not turn back to their old sinful ways anymore. The signs of your coming is in our day, so people should be calling upon Your name in all their confessions, and not saying that You are delaying Your return. It is when people do this is when people put off following You, but do as the world says is ok instead. Therefore, people are out drinking it up, looking at porn all they want to, indulging in the homosexual lifestyle, having abortions, while thinking all is well. But Lord, this is so false and far out there. People do not know the pit they are digging for themselves, lest they repent. They also do not know what they are missing out on when it comes to Your love, and I am afraid that they will miss out on it for all eternity in hell if they do not turn from their sins and follow You. You are the Lord of all and are looking to see who is for You, not against You. So, God, I come to You now and forever at Your feet. Continue to use me for Your kingdom. Help me be a shining light for all the world to see. I wish to see more people be saved before it is too late. I love You, Jesus. Amen.

Oh Lord, please help people understand the need to pray. You have told us that all we need to do is knock and You will open the door to us. You are not hiding Your face from us, but only want to sup with us. If we could just have ears to hear, You would give us understanding. I know this to be true and wish that more people would desire to know You personally. There is a difference between saying a prayer that we have recited and say time and again than a heartfelt prayer, where we will really want to know You and have answers to our problems. I’ve gone down the road of saying quick prayers and I was never strong in the faith. I would continually fall into sexual sin and not have a way of it. Therefore, pornography took over my life, and I would be left trying to mark days when I haven’t looked at it, but then be burdened because I fell once again. You know these times Lord, but also that once I put my trust in You, then all these burdens washed away. You took my sins that were heavy upon me and put them upon Your own shoulders to carry. I am so grateful to know that You paid the price for my sins, that I don’t have to worry about them anymore. You heard my confessions and healed my broken heart. I had no way of escaping the evil lifestyle I was in, but You gave me a way of it. Thank You, Lord. I knocked and You answered. I may not be perfect in Your eyes, and far from that, but I know now that seeking You daily is more important than anything else. Without You I am nothing, but with You I am strong. I am able to deflect the temptations of the enemy and come out victorious with you by my side. I love You, Jesus. You are my Savior and the rock upon which I stand. Give me wisdom and others, as they start coming to You more often in prayer. I know that You will help them, as You have continued to help me over the years. Amen.

Oh Lord, give people understanding this day. Help them know if what they are doing is for You or against You. And if what people are up to is not in line with Your standards, convict them of their sins. People need to understand that repentance is not a bad thing, but necessary, in order for You to do a work in our lives. Surely, we cannot continue living in willful sin and think that we are ok in Your sight. People know already that they are in sin, but are only denying it, in order to continue to fulfill their own lusts. Even their conscience is acting up, and because of what they are watching on TV, looking at on their phones and other devices, places they go to, along with people they hang out with, they have become numb to what is good and what is evil. This is very disheartening and can only stop if people would allow You to come into their lives. Then, would they know that living a life pleasing for You also means changing our lifestyle to fit Yours. For how can the Holy Spirit come inside of me if I am continually looking at porn, going to the bars, doing drugs, watching TV and movies with bad language, killing, and sexual connotations, playing shoot-em-up games, and listening to the wrong music. The answer is that I cannot be on Your side and still do these things. So I pray that You will continue to work in my life and others. This way our choices will become righteous and holy. Even our actions and what we decide to do will also reflect this will to follow You. I love You, Lord. Thank You for leading me on the right path. I was lost, but You found me. Your blood has covered me and now I am forgiven. Thank You, Lord. I give You the praise and the glory. Amen.

Oh Lord, even when I am weak, You make me strong. You hear my cries and come to my rescue. I am not left alone in my tears, for You listen to every word I say and give me comfort. As You have said in scripture, You have also made known to me what a Savior is really like. I am not alone, for You are by my side every day of my life. When I wake, You give me new breath to live another day for You. I may be tempted, but You help me overcome them. I am led to safety when the enemy comes my way because You love me. Thank You for knowing what is ailing me at times, and giving me wise counsel, so that I may get through it. People may be hard on me at times, but still You help me know how to handle things in the best way possible. It is true that in Your service not everybody will be for You, but there will be people that only want to tear down Your message of hope. They may even say harsh things to me and others with me while trying to hurt us, but still I know where to go and what to say to them and others, for You are leading me. Even if people appear to be friends, but say things behind my back, I will press forward in faith knowing that they will see who I really am for You as time goes by. I can’t help it if people want to be mean to others, but only pray that they will see their wrongs and repent. So, Lord, I pray for any person that is going through trials and adversity right now in their lives. Bring comfort and peace to their heart and soul. Help them through the difficult times, that they may come out victorious with You at the head. Surely, we are not alone, for You are our God and our great King. I love You, Lord. I praise You and give You great glory. Amen.

Lord, I pray that people will make a decision to follow You. So many people claim to know You, but really only a few that follow You. These few that know, know what being born again is really like, but the rest have never experienced it. For if they did, they would not be the person they are today. People would be running to You and not turning back to their old lifestyle, which we see people doing now. God, it is hard to see people that I know and love go back to their former lusts while grieving the Holy Spirit. It is even sadder to know that they are now comfortable in their own way of life, which is very sinful, for they now believe that in their faith alone are they saved. This is very disheartening that there are pastors that teach this false doctrine of cheap grace. Lord, to many wolves are taking Your sheep astray, and I wish I could be a voice to all these people, that they may come to You know personally. It is my prayer that people will understand the need to pick up their cross and follow You. It is one thing to say they believe in You, but another to do as You have and Your disciples have taught us in scripture. We either love You or we don’t. We are either Your friend as we obey Your commands, or we are not. And if we are not on Your side, then we are only living for Satan. This is what I am afraid of, Lord. So convict these people that are living in their sins of the wicked state they are in. Help them know that a lifestyle that goes against Your standards is only choosing death and destruction. It is my prayer that people will start praying more and reading the Bible daily, that they may help them know what sin is and then confess those sins to You openly in prayer. Surely, You are ready to forgive us, as sinners, but we must desire to have Your blood cover us first. I believe in You. You the Lord of my Lord. I love You. Amen.

Oh Lord, I pray for every person who currently has a problem with using profanity. I know how wrong this it, for it grieves the Spirit in me when people are using it. If only people could understand the importance of the Holy Spirit, then they would no longer be using evil speaking, but by seeking to say and do as You would have for their lives. There would be a transformation in people’s lives, if they could just allow You to rip from their hearts and minds every form of cussing, talking down to people, crude jokes, and anger problems. These issues are so prevalent today and no longer people can put on a good face at church and do these things, while still believing in You. The Spirit is speaking against such things, and I pray that people will confess their faults one to another, and more importantly, to You in prayer. People need to ask forgiveness for every foul thing that has come from their mouths. For they do not know the number of people that have also been offended by their swearing or cussing. People that love You, like I do, would never want to be a loose canon when it comes to our speech. Instead, we take every thought captive, that You may help us say the right things to people. Lord, it is my desire that people will put off their old man/women for Your cause. Then, can You transform their lives. I know how it felt when I was born again, and I wish that more people would experience this also. So come now into every person’s heart that says they believe in You, but are still living for the flesh. Give them a heart change and point them on Your path of righteousness. Then, will they understand that showing kindness and love towards others is much better than saying profane things. You are my God and I believe in You. Teach me to walk in Your light all my days. I love You more than anything this world can offer me. Amen.

Oh Lord, help us learn to love those that have hurt us. The weight that people carry because of the heartache they have caused upon people is already too much, for people to then hold grudges against them. If people could learn that as much as we want to be forgiven from You, we should forgive others also, then would this world be a better place. There would be more love in this world and less hate. There would be more joy and not depression. Families would come together and no longer be at war with one another. I know this is all possible, God. However, we cannot do this on our own. We need Your love to engulf our lives, that we may be transformed. So hear our cries now as we confess our sins openly to You. I am praying, but others that are in a family quarrel are also praying right now for help. Here us as we ask You to cast out all the anger in our hearts. Take away our pride and replace it with Your love. Help us to be more selfless in helping others, instead of selfish in what we can gain from people. And fix our eyes upon You, that we may know Your will in our lives, and no longer be fixed on what our flesh wants. I don’t wish to have anyone not find forgiveness from me, especially since I need Your forgiveness each day of my life. So if anyone has caused a rift in my relationship with them, help me be friendly around them still. May the words forgiveness come out of my mouth and in my actions towards them. People need to know that I am also sorry for being hurtful, and I also wish that people will forgive me. So I pray for other people that have also put up walls in their lives because of me, for You to take tear them down, oh Lord. Help every bad situation be mended by Your great love. I love You, Lord. I trust in You. Amen.

Oh Lord, I pray for this world that we live in. Too many people are caught up in their lust while causing so much pain and anguish in the lives of those around them. We have people that are then caught up in a date rape situation and even brothers and sisters are getting involved with each other sexually because of this. Oh, what a sad world this has become. Where Your laws are no longer honored and people don’t care anymore about doing Your will. If people could just see the lives of others that are now suffering because of their own pride and selfish ambitions. Then, would they understand that what they are doing is only causing people to be disrespected in a way that is abominable in your sight. Taking others for granted while our own pleasures are gratified is so wrong. And how can we go on with ourselves, when we have caused another person to be violated sexually? If people could just know how You feel about fornication and adultery, then none of this would be happening. And if it did, people would come to You quickly in repentance. There would no longer be people that are living in a sexual relationship outside of marriage. For the marriage bed would finally be respected in what You have called it to be. That is for a man and woman to leave their father and mother and become one flesh in marriage. As You have spoken, taking the purity from another person, because of our sexual endeavors with them is evil. Therefore, I pray that people will no longer cause people that are waiting for marriage to have sexual intimacy with their spouse, to force them into this beforehand. So put in people the Holy Spirit, that they may start respecting one another and no longer take them for granted. You respect our wishes, and I pray that we will start doing this for others. I love You, Lord. Doing Your will brings me the greatest joy of all. Amen.

Oh Lord, I pray that people will get their lives in order with You before it is too late. Too many people are wasting their lives on things that do not matter, and among them are people that are doing things that are very sinful and grievous in Your sight. Surely, their laziness, when it comes to watching TV and using their phones all day will catch up to them, Lord. You have so much to do in a person’s life and electronic devices are taking that precious time away from You. Therefore, are these people getting caught up in the lusts of their flesh, while not keeping You in their continued thoughts. Lord, people are now following the passions that are burning inside of them, and unfortunately, I have not seen it be for You, but other things. So they get caught up in having illicit sex with people while justifying their actions. Even people look at porn and think that since everyone’s doing it, it must be OK. Oh Lord, these sins are crying out to You, and because their hearts are closed off to Your counsel, can they not see their sinful lifestyle. It saddens me to see people get involved with other people’s spouses, because of lust and then seeing their families crumble in divorce. This is devastating not only for me to witness but for the children and spouses involved. It is my heart cry that people will wake up to their sins now so that things don’t get any worse. The outcomes of their lives can be much better if they just reach out to You in prayer. Sure, they may not know how to get out of the situation they are in, but You can help them. If people would just confess that they have sinned to You and tell You that they need You, then everything would work out for Your good. I love You, Lord. Thank You for rescuing me from a life of sexual sin, involving pornography and adultery. I am a new man because Your blood has covered me. Thank You for Your forgiveness, Lord. Amen.

Oh Lord, help us live a life that is pleasing in Your sight and not our own. Help mold us and shape us into the person that You wish we would become and not what we think is right. Take us out of a life of sin and transform us through the Holy Spirit. We come to You in all our confessions, that You would redeem us from our sins and wash us clean. Cleanse us in Your blood, that we may walk blameless and holy in Your sight. Our desires are not to be conformed to the world any longer but only do as You would direct our lives. Help us get on Your path of righteousness and not fall off it. We need You near us each day so that we can stay strong in the faith and not have to worry about the enemy taking us down. Temptations will come, but with Your shield, we can come out victorious. Lord, I know that this new life is not all about me, but what I can do for Your kingdom. The Holy Spirit has shown me that loving others is the best thing I can do in life. This shows that I do love You when I love my neighbor as myself. You have taught me that giving is better than receiving. It is also better to pray for one another than praying my own needs. I know that You will answer my own personal prayers and am so grateful, it just brings me so much more joy when I can pray for others and see You do a work in there lives also. I can’t stand seeing people in need and not jump in and help them out, and I know that this giving Spirit comes from You, God. Thank You. You have made me more generous and kind than ever before. I am not better than others, but only wish to be a blessing upon people, as You would. Thank You for doing this work in my life and keeping me in Your perfect will. My faith has grown as I have looked to You each day in prayer and read the Bible. You have taught me so much, God, and I would not be where I am today without You. I give You all the glory and honor. Oh Lord, I pray for people that are currently living sexual sin and have not repented as of yet. Still they think that they are fine with You, since they say they believe, but really, they are deceiving themselves. What they are doing, Lord, is wasting their lives, while finding pleasure in sin, where they should be finding pleasure doing Your will. What we have are people that are asleep and have faith that is dead. They may not realize it, but You can see everything. Really, our lives are an open book to You, oh God. We can’t hide in the bathroom and look at porn and still think we are Ok in Your sight. This is so wrong. Therefore, wake people up to repentance. Help them understand the gravity of their situation before it is too late. I do not wish to see people that go to church be cast in the lake of fire, because of their sins that were never taken care of. So I ask that any sin that is in my life and others that say You are their Lord, will be removed once and for all. I don’t wish to have the Holy Spirit grieved any longer, and I pray that others will also feel the same way. So help us know what is wrong with our current lifestyle, that we may be rebuked, and run to You for forgiveness. Truly, we can’t live our lives on sinking sand and think that we are going to heaven when we die, but only if we build our lives upon the rock of Jesus. Then, can we find the straight and narrow gate, which leads to heaven. Lord, I am grateful for Your written instructions on how we ought to live a holy life, and I pray that You will continue to mold me and shape me into the person I ought to be. I also pray that many more people will be called Your sons and daughters, before their life is up. I love You, Lord. Amen.

Oh Lord, help us learn to love as You would have us love our neighbor and our enemies. It is our desire to do Your will and not our own. So teach us this day to live as You lived while You were on earth. Yes, Jesus, You are the greatest example of love in the purest form. What you taught about being loving towards everyone was showcased in how you treated others around You also. When you taught us to show love to our enemies, You did this while willfully submitting yourself to die for our sins. And even though we don’t deserve Your mercy, You show it to us anyway. What a great God I serve! Thank You, Lord. I know that I am not always the best person when it comes to displaying Your love, but I pray that I will get better at doing this as time permits. There are days that I say things to my wife and others that are hurtful, which makes me sorrowful and pained inside. I know that when I say sorry, it isn’t always accepted also, which is also so sad to know. But Lord, one thing I will never stop doing is tell people sorry when I’ve hurt them. I guess it is up to them to forgive me, as I know that You have already done this. In my confessions, You have heard my cries and have shown me compassion. For this reason, there are no more hard feelings for people that have done me wrong, but only love and forgiveness towards them. Lord, I may not always be so loving, but I am working on it every day, as I seek Your hand. That is why I need You in my life at all times. Make a home inside my heart, that others will see a light in my life and also want to know You. I love You, Lord. Amen.

Oh Lord, I love You and only want to do Your will. It is when You are working inside of me is when I am the happiest. Not when I am receiving something, but when I can give myself and things to others. This is true love and joy. Lord, You have taught me that I don’t need things in life to be happy, but only what I can give brings me happiness. Truly, Your teaching on the two greatest commandments has hit me like a truck would. I now know that as I love on You, that I should also be loving upon others, even my enemy. So when people have done bad things to me, I will still show them kindness as You do to those that have hurt You but have repented later. You have taught me that forgiveness is not only sought after from us to You but from others to us that need it. So how can I be so insensitive and not say sorry myself, and forgive others when You do this for me every day of my life? And Lord, when I see people in need, I can’t control myself but run to turn to them for assistance. It saddens me deeply to know that someone is suffering and needs help. This is Your love and compassion speaking through my life, which You made for me. I am able to understand what love really is like because the Holy Spirit is with me. For this reason, I am happy to purchase whatever is possible to help a homeless person or pay for someone’s groceries in the store, who is struggling. So lead me to those people that are in more need than myself. Give me the courage to speak to them, that I may not only help them but lead them to know You, Jesus. It is my prayer that every person that I help, will also develop a personal relationship with You. I do not only want to see people get well and get the help they need but also be prepared to meet You one day in heaven. Amen.

Oh Lord, I pray that Your love will begin to fill our lives. There are so many people in need, but only You can break through to people, in order to help them know this is true. The selfishness in their lives is not helping the matter also, but only destroying their ability to serve You with their whole hearts. So do a work in every person’s life that says they believe in You, that Your love will be on full display in their lives and others. Surely, people will not ever realize what Your joy is like until they have been in Your service, oh God. I have met way to many people that have said that the Holy Spirit is in not present with them, but how can this be? If these same people would simply be willing to follow You, then doors would start opening up. They would see Your blessings poured out upon their lives, and then want to share these blessings with others. Just as You opened my eyes to the importance of feeding the homeless and caring for their needs, these people that seek You need to know this. Then will more people know that caring for others is necessary, and people that have done Your good works selflessly will have the Holy Spirit with them. As I have encountered the Spirit each week, while showing love towards others, every person in Your church can also be led by You. You did not leave us comfortless but have left the Holy Spirit to lead us on the path of righteousness. Thank You, Lord. I pray that this day and forever, I will continue on this path that You have set for me. I love You, Lord. Helping others is the least I can do as an offering of my heart to serve You. Amen.

Lord, I pray for Kobe Bryant’s wife and family. Right now they are going through a lot of pain and anguish, having lost, not only Kobe, but Gianna, his daughter, as well. I can just imagine how his wife is feeling at this moment in time and my heart is aching because of this. I know that many people looked up to this man, and to see him suddenly dying in a helicopter crash is devastating. So Lord, bring comfort and peace upon those people that are affected. Help me and others get through this sad loss. I know that I will need Your strength to carry on, so I cannot even imagine how other people are dealing with this loss as well. All I can ask in such an event like this is to help people know that life is short. May they make every moment count, especially when it comes to coming to You for salvation. I know that I do not know the hour or day that I will pass on from death unto life, but when that day does come, I will be ready to meet You, Lord. You are my greatest joy and the anchor of my soul. Be with me now and forever. I do not wish to leave people behind wondering where I will be after I die. So let this day be known that I am in Your hands. You are my Lord, and Savior, Jesus. I commit my life to follow You now, as I did those five years ago. Also, Lord, help the Bryant household be at peace. May their faith, if any, grow because of this event. I pray that they will look to You in faith and no longer look back. And as for Kobe and his daughter, You know where they are now. Have mercy upon their souls, and bring peace to those that are left behind. I love You, God. Amen.

Oh Lord, I believe in You, God. You are all-powerful and can do all things for my life, for the greater good. I may not be ready to fight the battles in life, but with You on my side, I can come out victorious. Therefore, I ask You this day to come into my life fully. I am ready to make You the king of my life and allow You to use me for Your kingdom. I may have been hesitant to go all-in for what You want to do in my life, but I am ready now. I do not wish to have the enemy have his way in my life anymore. So please come and make me a shield of faith. Give me a sword to fight the enemy, even Your Word. The Bible is sharper than any two-edged sword. What You have spoken convicts my hearts to repentance, that I may live a life that pleases You. It also causes the enemy to freeze in his tracks, that He will have no room in my life any longer. I may be tempted still, but You are able to lead me out of temptation. This I pray that You will be with me and lead me far from the enemy. I trust that You can do all things in my life. Even sin can be removed from my heart if You desire it. I do not wish to walk in willful sin, but only to have You expel it from my heart, my mind, and my actions. I pray that people will look at me and see You. It is my desire to share Your love with all people, and by having Your light in me many more souls will be saved. Thank You, Jesus, for your forgiveness and mercy. Oh Lord, thank You for first establishing your house upon this earth and then opening the doors for us all to have Your presence in our lives. We need You in our lives, God, so thank You for establishing Your temple in us now. It would be so difficult to know Your will if I had to be in a specific place to know it. So thank You for ripping the veil in two, when You were raised upon the cross. This made it so that we can all come unto You, which I am amazed and honored to come unto You now. Thank You, Lord. I pledge my life now and forever to seek Your hand first in my life. I love Your counsel, even when You chasten me does it bring me down to my knees in repentance. I know that I am not perfect and need You to correct me when I do fall. I am not unhappy by this at all, but so happy that You care so much for me, as to want to lead me on Your path of righteousness. So even now do I come to You in my confessions. Lead me out of the darkness and into Your light. Forgive me of all my faults that I have committed. Lead me from the enemy, oh Lord, and into Your matchless arms. This empty life, where I always need something new or better to be happy, is not meant for me, but only Your love that You give me. When Your presence is with me, I am fulfilled. Even Your mercy and grace awakens my soul to seek You more and more. I love Your ways, oh God, and love You with all my heart. If I have done anything good, it is by Your hands. Thank You, Lord. Lord, I praise You this day and forever. You are holy and I love You with all my heart. I cry out to You now in honor and respect to my King. Oh, how I adore You, Lord. There is no one like You, God. My life is secure because You are in my life. I am strengthened each day because of Your presence. I don’t need the things of this world to be happy, but only You, God. Because You have allowed the Holy Spirit to be with me, my life and my family have been uplifted in Your love. All I need is You, Lord, and everything else not only makes sense but falls perfectly in my steps ahead of me. Truly, as I have sought after You, has my passions been satisfied. My desires have been fulfilled because you have blessed me. Thank You, Jesus. Thank You, Lord. Thank You, God. I am not worthy of Your love, Your respect, Your compassion, Your goodness, Your mercy, Your Grace, and Your kindness, but You still come to me. What a Savior I have. You have heard my cries and have comforted my soul. I am perfectly at peace, for in You I am able to rest. You are the anchor of my soul, who gives me life and light abundant. I don’t have to go out searching for love, for You showcase Your love to me every day that I have breath. Thank You for forgiving me and cleansing me through Your blood. Today’s Prayer (01/22/2020)
Oh Lord, it is so good just to lift my hands up in praise and worship Your great Name. There are even times that all I want to do is move around while crying out to You in prayer. Some times when a worship song comes on, I just want to dance before You, for You deserve all that I am within me. I am saved because You died for me on the cross. I am so blessed because the Savior of the world decided to dine with me. My life is changed because You are with me now. I can call upon Your Name and know that You will be there to answer me. There is no doubt in my mind that there are great and mighty things in store for my life, because I seek You often, even in my thoughts. Thank You so much for speaking life inside of my lost soul. Because the Holy Spirit is with me now, I am made alive in You. There is no holding back the things I am able to do now because You have me by the hand. Even when I was in sin, You heard my cries and carried me on your shoulders to safety. I am no longer weak but made strong in You. I can do all things, because You strengthen me in Your Word, in prayer, in worship, and in service to You. Thank You, Lord. I pledge my whole life to serve You now and forever. Come and make a place for me not only in heaven but inside of me at all times. With Your shield, the enemy has no place in my life. I can walk in Your love and not have to worry about sin and doubt entering my life. You have paid it all for me. Now, I just need You evermore. I love You, Lord.
