Many false teachings can come into a church, when new “so-called” revelation begins to override what the Bible teaches.
What will save us in this life is our faith in Jesus Christ. It is this faith that compels us to forsake what is evil and come unto Him for a change of heart.
It is God that would move us to love one another as He loves us. Without such love in our lives, there Is no true faith.
Jesus explained what it takes to follow Him. He said, “he that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.”
If you say you love Jesus, then obey Him also. Then will your faith be on full display and you will become a light unto the Lord in this darken world.
The Bible is clear that salvation does not go through a man-made church or through any person, but through Christ alone.
Did the disciples of Christ, in the Bible, believe what Jesus said? Yes, they did. Paul said, “for by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
God is your protector if He dwells in you. If not, then willful sin is present instead. You must make a choice whom you will serve.
What the Lord can do through us in prayer is more than we will ever know. Until we have given our hearts to God we will never know what this means.
As Christians, we focus our minds on God and desire His will for our lives always. This way we can be led by the Holy Spirit and do things the way He desires, and not our things.
We are told to be humble and sober-minded. This way we will be teachable and ready to receive what God wants to tell us.
Moses did speak to God in person and as a friend. The same can be said for believers who are saved in heaven.
What an amazing love to have Jesus die for our sins on the cross. We are no longer condemned but alive in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Submit your lives to God. No longer let the members of your body fight inside of you. There is nothing good that can come from this.
Jesus died for all of our sins. He makes ways for us to overcome temptation. He watches over us. He loves us.
What we do for salvation, on our own terms, without God’s help, is only filthy rags in the sight of God.
The more we seek the Lord in prayer and the Bible, our faith will grow stronger. We will not be like some, where “cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts.
Addiction is sin and in Christ, these sins are destroyed, that we may follow Him to the fullest. As mentioned, addictions come in all forms but a growing trend among young people is vaping.
