Oh Lord, we love You and repent of all our sins. Please forgive us for forsaking You all these many days, weeks, months, and hours. We are sorry for serving other things, for we know that we ought to put You first in our lives. So, God, convict us of our sins. Change our lives and conform us into Your perfect will. We confess that our priorities have been messed up and we ask that You forgive us. Have mercy upon our souls. This doesn’t mean that we desire forgiveness now, that we might do the same things later on. What we desire is for You to rip out of our lives every unclean thing. Set our heart to serve You and to be a light unto this lost generation. Lord, the TV set and my smartphone has taken up way to much time in my life and I am sorry for all the wasted moments. Even for this little time that I have left on this earth, begin to use me for Your kingdom. Every day that I have breath, keep me on Your righteous path, that I may not fall. Your ways are pure, holy, and faithful, and I wish to have these same characteristics in my life always. Lord, lead me far from temptation, that I may not fall victim to the same things as before. I have learned from my mistakes and am ready to serve You now. For, Lord, You are my God and my delight. I am made clean because You are my Savior and Redeemer. May I learn as I read the Bible daily. Help me to see my own and other people’s needs in prayer. I want to serve You now, so lead me in Your light. I love You, Jesus. Amen.

Oh Lord, I long to be with You. Even to be with You in heaven forever. I know that this time on earth is short and soon I will leave this body and return to my Maker in heaven. What a time this will be. Lord, there are days that are very hard, but still, You give me the strength to carry on. I’ve lost many friends over the years, but I have never lost Your love in my life. People have deserted me and stopped answering my phone calls, but You have never stopped answering my prayers. There may be few people who wish to join in with me in ministry, but I know that Your multitude of angels are ever with me. I am not alone, for the Holy Spirit is leading me daily on Your righteous path. You have taken hold of my life and made me new. What a day it was and still is to be born again. I wouldn’t trade the place I am now with You for anything else. Thank You, Jesus, for saving a wretch like me. If I have sinned against You this day, please forgive me. Lead me far away from temptation. Your path is what I desire to be on now and for the rest of my days. Keep my eyes fastened upon Your perfect will, that I may never stray from Your desires in my life again. It is my will to never forsake You and to lead my family in the ways that are righteous also. May my daughters and my wife see You in me and rejoice in God, my Savior. Help me to be Your witness and to lead the lost to know You. Oh Lord, I pray that we will stay in tune with You throughout each day of our lives. That we will not be a friend to this world but stay in Your perfect will. I love it when You are near, for the hair on my arms stands up and I get chills throughout my body. How awesome it is to be in worship and know that You are so near. I love it when I can know that You are ready to guide me by the hand. This is when the darkness is scattered and Your light enters in, even in a very big way. Thank You, Jesus. You are so good to me. I have so much to say and it is in praise to Your great Name. Holy are You, Jesus. Lord, keep me every close to Your presence. Don’t allow me to get sucked into the world, once again. All I know is that Satan can make things appear to be good on the outside while giving us the same chills when we indulge in them. So often does worldly music, movies, video games, receiving new things like phones, and things we do in the outdoors brings us the joy we are looking for in the moment. Even to the point of us experiencing a euphoria, which is only masqueraded as good. And instead of us seeing the filth that is therein, we get so sucked into these things and our minds get clouded. We can’t even see that these things are really tearing You down, which is very sad. What really breaks my heart, Lord, is that people who are into such filth are often unwilling to listen to us Christians. So convict them of their sins. We can do all we can to share the truth, but we need the Holy Spirit to do the rest. Lord, lead them out of a life of guilt and into Your light. Then, will they encounter the greatest joy of all, which comes from You, Jesus. I love You. Amen.

Oh Lord, I pray that people will begin to see the error of their ways. That when good Christians approach them of their sins, that they will take their counsel with joy. Even to the point of confessing their sins to You in prayer. Lord, there are way too many people who call themselves Christians who also walk in the ways of darkness and don’t even care one bit. And to approach them of about there sins, they take offense and say, “stop judging me”. This is what I call a generation of people who disregard other people’s opinions when it comes to their lifestyle. They even hate it when we try to point them to You and to no longer willfully sin, which is very disheartening. Even so many people are making a noise in this society about worldly things, but are slow to speak about anything that is of You. People are quick to go home and turn on their TV, but slow to pick up the Bible and read it. They are anxious to pick up their smartphone throughout the day but have no time to pray to You. What a perverse and wicked generation we live in. So many people are lifted up in the cares of this world and living a life that goes against You and are unwilling to see the error in their ways. So Lord, lead people in the faith to them, that they may speak for You and plant seeds in their hearts. I do not wish to see more people be found guilty because of their neglect to know and follow You, but that more people will become born again of the Holy Spirit. Lord, I am asking for You to pierce the hearts of the wicked, even in dreams, visions, and through people. Set them free through Your mighty power. I believe in You, Jesus. I trust in You for salvation. I love You, Lord. Amen.

Oh Lord, I pray that people in the faith will stay far away from Halloween and not participate. That they will not allow themselves or their children to indulge in such things of the devil. There was a time in our lives that we were very sinful and didn’t care about doing that which was evil, but those days are past us now. We are now in the faith and are born again. So please remind people to continually abstain from any appearance of evil. That we do not conform to the ways of this world but stay apart from the evils therein. Thank You, Lord, for teaching me Your ways and for shining the light upon such an evil and wicked day. Surely, the enemy has clouded people’s minds to have them think that it is innocent to bring their kids out trick-or-treating on this worldly holiday. He has slowly allowed the darkness of this world to seep into people’s lives, that the Holy Spirit will not lead them any longer. Oh, how evil and conniving Satan is. To his desires for my life and my family, I say, “get behind me Satan. You will not have any more part in my life now or forever. I am sick of your lies and I am now on the Lord’s side”. Lord, Your ways are true and faithful. Keep me ever seeking You and to not fall victim to the lies of the enemy again. I know that You have called us to be in Your light and even become the light of the world. But how can we do this if darkness remains in us? The answer is that we cannot hold true to what You want us to do, Lord, if we continue to do the things that our flesh desires instead. I love You more than what this world can offer me. Oh Lord, I pray that You will take all our fear away. May we walk in faith and not worry about the times we are living in. You give us the strength we need when we seek You often throughout the day. Even our burdens are made light because You are with us. The coronavirus pandemic may be causing doubts to flow in people’s minds right now, but my mind is made clear through You. Thank You, Jesus. I don’t have to worry about getting infected while witnessing to people on the streets or visiting people who are sick in their homes. Their illnesses may be with them at the moment, but then soon cast out in prayer. Lord, I wish that more people in the faith would realize how powerful prayer really is. That if it is Your will, many people who are sick will soon recover. I know that this can happen, for what You said in scripture is still standing strong today. We are to go out in all the world and preach the gospel, and not fear those things which could take us down. For You will keep us upright until our work on earth is done. Yes, God, I believe that in the time of this pandemic and others in the future, we are to pray even more often throughout each day for Your strength. Even prayer and fasting, so that we can go out in the harvest and begin saving souls for Your kingdom. Thousands upon thousands of people, I believe can still be saved from the destructive path they are in right now. So help me be aware of the sick people around me, that I might visit them and bring Your power and healing into their homes. I pray for many more salvations, and complete healings in this time we live in, and the future. Set a fire in every person in the faith, that a revival will begin in their hearts. Oh Lord, I pray that You will shine Your light in us. That we will be ignited from the inside out to serve You and our fellow men and women with all our hearts, mind, and strength. May our desires be transformed into things that lift You up and not tear You down. So often do we think about things that we don’t need and only cause us to go into more debt than before. Even the things we accumulate often come about because of envy and covetousness, which should never have been bought in the first place. Lord, if we could just look to You in faith, we would stop caring about all the things our flesh desires, but start thinking upon other people instead. Surely, our selfishness would be turned into selflessness. We don’t need more people who are lifted up in the cares of this life, but people who lift You up in Your service, oh God. I don’t need much in this life, but what You can offer and do with me. If I am happy, it is because I am in Your service and a great work is being brought about in me and through me, because You did it all. I lift You up in praise and lower myself down as Your humble servant. You deserve the honor and the glory this day and forever, not people. Lord, may every person in the faith realize this and start looking to You and worshipping You today. Only then can they come to know You, as I have. Your ways are pure and holy. The gospel message of the cross and resurrection needs to be taught in all the world. I am Your servant and will continue to go forth in Your harvest. Who will join me, Lord? I pray that millions of people in the faith will join me and that many more people will be saved. I love You, God. Amen.

Oh Lord, it is my heart’s desire to serve You and to lead as many people as possible to know You. And Lord, I know that I cannot do this on my own. Without Your presence with me, my words will do nothing good, but only stir up contention. What I need is You speaking through me at all times. As I am called to be Your witness, I pray that I will go forth and be valiant in Your sight. I would never wish that people would want to follow me, but only follow You. As people hear Your message of hope and salvation, I wish to decrease and You increase. These people need to understand the importance of the cross and the resurrection. For only then will they desire to be forgiven and desire Your mercy for their sins. Lord, I know that You are oh so merciful and just. Your ways are pure and holy, and I wish that people would come to understand this also. Then, would they know that living a life of sin is causing You, God, to grieve. How sad it is to see people who say they believe in You and then continue to willfully sin. What a waste of a life who could have been redeemed by Your blood. So it is my prayer that these people will repent, truly believe in You, and then be baptized. And if they have already been baptized, that they will come back to You. Your arms are wide open to receive them back. I just hope that they make this choice before it is too late. Surely, Your teachings and promises are true. We are either saved and will go to heaven, or will enter death and go to hell. As for me, continue to cleanse me all my sins. Help me to walk in Your holiness and no longer cling to the things of this world. I love You, Jesus. I give You praise and honor, this day and forever. Amen.

Oh Lord, I pray that every believer will desire to become Your witnesses. That people will realize that believing in and following You is more than knowing the truth, but also telling others about You. Surely, we have the cure to eternal destruction and hell in Your gospel message of the cross and resurrection, so why would people be quiet about this matter? All I know, God, is that we have some genuine Christians out there, but also others who are living with a dead faith. And how fruitful can a person be in Your kingdom who is not willing to open their mouths and share the gospel message with others? The answer is that they cannot do any good thing for You if they are keeping the truth to themselves. Therefore, Lord, awaken people to know You for themselves. May they truly believe in You and be baptized. Then, will they put on Christ and no longer walk the path of destruction. We need Your direction in this life, or else we will easily fall victim to sin and death. And only by Your blood, that was shed for us on the cross, can we be resurrected unto new life. Surely, the day that I came out of the waters of baptism is when the Holy Spirit filled me and now I only wanted to tell others about You, Jesus. All the selfishness in my heart went away and I became more and more selfless. Lord, the best thing I can do is serve, help, and witness Your truths with people of this world. It is my prayer that people will call upon Your Name and believe. That they will then turn from their sins, and be baptized. There is a cleansing awaiting them, that only You can provide. Salvation is real and it comes through You, Jesus. I love You, Lord. I give You praise and honor. Amen.

Oh Lord, I pray for salvation for those among the homosexual community. I am not talking about people who will not repent and come to You, but those that are prime and ready to. I don’t believe that every person who is a homosexual is damned and will go to hell when they die, for there is still time to be set free while they have breath. Only if they continue in their lifestyle until the end, will their fate be sealed in the lake of fire. Lord, knowing this is an alarming fact and I wish to wake these people up from the clutches of hell and raise them up to know You, Jesus. I just need Your help. Move within me and others in the faith, that chains will be broken once and for all. If you are for us, we can reach these people even unto salvation. Lord, in the next hour I will be on the streets witnessing at a gay pride festival and need the Holy Spirit to be with me. Keep me from harm’s way, while keeping me tasked to preach and teach to every person who has an ear to hear You. I am coming into a fire that only You can tame. I know that many people will be upset with Your Words, but the fact of the matter is that there are lives at stake of going to hell and need saving. May these people come to realize the abominable state they are in and repent. I ask that people will pray with me for salvation. If there are dozens or even hundreds, praise God. May this message I share with them be not of me, but from the Holy Spirit. The Spirit can move mountains in us and also set people free from sin and shame. I love You, Jesus. Oh Lord, I pray that more people will have faith in You and be baptized. Too many people in our day and age now teach things that go against what You have said in scripture, which is to believe in You and be baptized. Then, we shall be saved. But how is this Lord? How can people who call themselves Christians leave out the importance of baptism and just tell their congregation to have faith? This leads me to believe that they know of the different teachings of the Bible, but only desire to teach the things that jive with their belief system. And so we have the philosophies or traditions of men being mixed in with the church, where really we have man’s own opinion on things, instead of You orchestrated their church. This is so sad and tells me that these pastors need to wake up and repent. I wish these men and even women now, would acknowledge everything in scripture as Your Words and teach on them. I say even women since this is blasphemy. The Bible clearly teaches that only men are pastors. Lord, we are living in a fallen and darkened generation, where even churches are corrupted. No wonder why so many people live just like the world and don’t even think it is wrong. Lord, only Your will power can change this, but I am afraid it is too late for that. I have seen the signs of Your coming and they are here and now. So it is my prayer that more people will come to true faith in You and be baptized. That they will come out of the darkness and into Your light. Give them wisdom, as they start reading the Bible daily and praying often. Doing this will change their entire mindset on things. Oh Lord, I pray that people will be more willing to stop what they are doing and help others. Surely, You will always stop what You are doing and listen to our prayers, while helping us, but we often cannot do the same for others. So many people, Lord, are too worried about losing their job, or missing out on getting to church or some other event on time, that they pass by people in need in their cars. This is very sad. All I know is that the times that I have stopped to help people have been the most joyous occasions in this life. And after I have finished helping them I am no longer worried about getting to where I was going on time. What I just did for this person was also for God and that was all that mattered. Lord, I wish that more people would desire to love others as You have called us to love them. That they would desire to love one another as we love You, which is with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength. Even our dealings with people in need should come first before our own needs. Lord, I know that this sounds foreign, but when people realize how important it is to be a light in this darkened world for others, they would jump at these opportunities. Lord, I am praying for people to become more selfless, kind, patient, compassionate, caring, considerate, loving, and merciful. These are all characteristics that only come from You, and by constantly listening to You, while abiding in the Spirit. We can be a light unto this lost generation, but there needs to be a fire that is burning in people. A fire that will consume them from the inside out. Lord, I am filled with Your fire. All I desire is to help people in need, but I am only one person. I need more people who will join me in this kingdom effort. I love You. Amen.

Oh Lord, I pray that we will all grow in our faith in You. That we will no longer grow colder because of sin but allow You to lead us into Your presence. Keep us far from the devil, that darkness may flee and light may enter in. It is my heart’s desire to stay close to You and abide in Your love. Lord, I am sorry for my sins and pray that You will cleanse me. Forgive me and have mercy for my soul. I am sorry for hurting You. Wash me through Your blood and take me from this place of guilt, and raise me up into Your peace. The things of this world often look so appealing to me, but I am always feeling shameful in the end. When lust has a hold of me I cannot even think straight, for my thoughts are twisted. And I am sorry for committing such wicked things, because of lust and covetousness. Lord, help me to always be content and even be willing to give up things I do not need in life. My true joy is found in You. So I look to You in faith, Lord, as my Savior, God, and King. Rescue me from this broken world and keep me ever on Your righteous path. Help me choose the better part of this world, which is listening to You and then being obedient to Your teachings. Then, people can be loved as You love them. Every day that I pray and read the Bible, I learn so much. And I am grateful for all the understanding and wisdom You have given me. So help me to learn of You and obey Your counsel. I believe in You, Lord. No longer do I wish to sin against You. I love You. Amen.

Oh Lord, I pray that You will spark an interest in everyone’s hearts who say they are in the faith to witness their faith with others. It is sad to go on the streets and to never see anyone else witnessing Your truths with others. Too many people are comfortable in what they have been taught and don’t mind worshipping You in church, but sharing their faith is another thing. Lord, I don’t understand this. All I want to do is tell others about You, Jesus, and nothing more. What is happening in sports, politics and the world does not compare to what people need to know about You and being saved. Truly, the best news about people coming to faith and being baptized is not recorded in the news outlets, but only things that they deem are good. How can the world shun You and what is happening in Your kingdom and think it is ok? This is so wrong and will only be fixed when more people desire to join me and others on the streets. We don’t need more protests, which cause riots, but good men, women, and youth to gain courage and become Your witnesses. I would love to reach everybody that passes by me on the streets, but I am only one person. Surely, the harvest is ripe, but the laborers are few. And I am afraid that people don’t care as much either. My heart breaks just saying that, for I cannot even imaging where their faith lies as well if that is where they stand. Lord, I know that when I am shut up in my house and don’t want to tell people about You, my faith was dead,. So I know that many people in this day have a dead faith also. Awaken them of their sleep. Save them, while there is still time. I love You, Jesus. I will go forth and be Your light in this darkened world. Amen.

Oh Lord, this day I cry out to You for answers. Help me to know Your will for myself and for others. May I learn how to treat people with Your love, respect, and kindness. I love it when You are merciful to me and pray that I might be so merciful to others when they have said or done things bad things to me. In my own mind, I cannot love on these people as You do, but only treat them poorly and say things I shouldn’t. Therefore, I pray that there will be no more walls built up, but only love shown back to all people. Tear down any walls and hard feelings towards anyone still, and give me over to love on them. I love You, Lord, and wish that all people could experience Your same love. What would be even better if people could come to know You personally, as I have, and be saved. So I pray that You will light up my life. May people see You in me and then glorify You, God, in heaven. On my own, I am a wretched sinner and nothing different than people in the world, but with You in my life, I am lifted up in Your might and strength. My faith is alive and I can do all things by Your mighty hand. So Lord, help me to always remember You and to continue to have clean hands and a pure heart. May Your desires become mine also, that I might go forth and accomplish Your will for mankind. In these things I pray, knowing that You are right there with me. I give You praise and honor. Today’s Prayer (09/06/2020)
Oh Lord, I pray that people will gain real faith in You. That their faith will no longer be dead but become alive in them. So many people can worship You in church and say they believe in You, but then during the week, they live just like the world. They are not any different than people who are not saved. And God, this leads me to believe that pastors are teaching a watered-down gospel in their church, that their members don’t even know any better. And this is because the importance of reading the Bible outside of church is not emphasized. Either is repenting of our sins and getting right with You in prayer and baptism. So many people now think that repenting of our sins is not necessary and good works are bad. How sad is this to see these people brainwashed in thinking this way. Lord, I wish that people would come to realize that what is taught in scripture overrules their pastor and their own beliefs. I so desire that people would check the Bible with everything they know now, in order to make sure it is true. Lord, I have done this and can now spot the heresies that are taught in church. I can’t even stay sitting down anymore if I hear any false teaching or a watered-down gospel. Lord, this makes me want to scream, for it upsets me to know that so many people are being led astray because of these teachings. Lord, I know that it would be disrespectful to say anything during the meeting, so I leave it for afterward. Surely, what is false needs to be brought to light, especially if people have spoken against Your Words. The same can be said about a watered-down gospel. These people are lukewarm and will one day be spewed out of Your mouth, lest they repent. I love You, God. Thanks for hearing me out on these matters. Help me to know what to do next. Amen.

Oh Lord, thank You for sharing Your mysteries with us, even in Your Holy Book, the Bible. Everything You have made and accomplished is deserving of our praise. Surely, there is no other God in the heavens or earth but You. Thank You for everything You have made, for it is a testimony of the great and mighty things You can do on earth and in our lives also. Lord, I may not have been around during the time of the great saints of old, like Moses, David, Isaiah, Elijah, and Job, but I pray that You will raise me up to be like unto them also. Help me to discover more and more of Your wisdom and understanding daily. God, I look to You in faith. Not just in words, but in deeds. Have Your way in me and use me mightily for Your kingdom. I know that extending our lives in the long future ahead of us is not promised, but I pray that You will use me now, while I still have breath. Because sickness can take a hold of me at any moment and I may die from it, I pray that my last days will be here to please You and not man. My joy does not come from the world, but by Your great hand. I am happy because You are with me. People may scoff at me, thinking my faith is in vain, but I know that when this life is set and done, that I will be with You. My king does not exist on earth but in heaven. You are my God, my Lord, my king, and my Savior. I love You, Jesus. Keep me ever in Your matchless arms of love. Carry me forth this day and the remainder of my life. Shine Your light upon me, that many people will see You in me and come to You in faith. I lift You up and give You praise. Amen.

Oh Lord, I ask that You come inside of me now. Fill me up with the Holy Spirit. Give me over to Your teachings, that I might know Your will and do as You say. Teach me, God. I love You, Jesus, and only want to please You. Make Your home inside my heart, this day and forever. Cast out of me anything that is wicked and vile. I am ready to go forth and fulfill Your plan for my life. I know that Your ways are higher, so do a work that has never been done. Even a mighty work inside of me. Clothe me with Your majesty and excellency. Array me with Your glory and beauty. Let there be no more self-righteousness and only Your righteousness that abounds in me. Light up my life that all the world will see me and glory You, Father in heaven. Don’t let this flame die out. There is a burning in my soul to serve You, and I will go forth and tell everyone about You, Jesus. All I desire is to see more people be saved and go to heaven. Hell is filling up fast, but that can stop with this generation of people. If there were just more people who could light up this world with me, then a revival would occur all around the globe. Then, people would realize how their lust and all their sins are only destroying them. If people could just know how they are affecting You when they sin, then, would they fall down on their knees and repent. I pray that this will happen in so many more people’s lives. That people will come to know You, Jesus, personally, and be saved. This I pray, in Your mighty Name, Jesus. Amen.

Oh Lord, I pray that people will stop giving themselves over to things that will never help them. Things that will only lead them apart from You and not lead them to know You, Jesus. TV is an idol in our society and people are leaning on it over You, which is sad. I just don’t know how to reach these people who are in sin and don’t realize it. How they have made television their idol and don’t care. Lord, people need to know that believing in You is an action. It isn’t a one day a week thing, but an everyday event. We aren’t known for sitting idly by watching our favorite TV shows but are busy doing Your work for Your kingdom. There are souls to be saved and who has time to turn on their TV anymore when the Holy Spirit is leading us to do more. I know the urgency of getting up and out of my house and witnessing to the lost. I love doing this, for it brings me great joy to see people hear the good news of the gospel and be saved. What a blessing it is to see people so desirous to receive Bibles and gospel tracts and even prayer. All I know, Lord, is that when I go out in faith is that much is accomplished for Your kingdom, even healings. However, if I remain at home like everyone else and watch TV, then time will go by faster. Even my time with You will become shorter and shorter. Over time I know I will lose sight of Your presence if I am not careful. Therefore, keep me apart from the television set. Don’t allow me to get sucked into it again. I love You more than making it my idol. Amen.

Oh Lord, I pray that people would desire to know You, the one true God of the Bible, and no longer believe in and follow false gods. What false gods do is cause division in the faith and make people out to be more holier than others. How their church is true and others are false. Wow! What a trip this has become in our society today. So many people are on the path of destruction because of the false teachings in their lives and aren’t even aware of it. And what is sad, Lord, is that hardly any of these people are open to the truth of God. I wish they would desire to hear You and be drawn to know what You would speak to them, but they are satisfied already in what they believe in. Their contentment in what they already know is leading them on their own paths which are apart from You. So Lord, what can I do to reach these people? How can people see the light in me and then desire to know more? I wish people would be awakened to know Your truth. That a hunger will stir up in people like never before. That as much as people love watching TV, playing with their phone, and playing video games, that this passion will leave them and Your passion will begin to burn inside of them. Lord, until people desire to know something greater, will these same people be led by man and not by Your hand. So Lord, take me and others into the harvest and lead us to the lost. Today’s Prayer (09/01/2020)
Oh Lord, thank You for all Your creation. You are the best architect that exists in heaven and earth. Your handiwork is unmatched. What You are able to achieve is stunning in everything about it. How awesome are the different types of animals upon this earth. They are all uniquely made and have their own characteristics about them that make them special in their own way. I love to admire horses and how elegant they look and trot upon the earth. The giraffe, and how tall it really is in person, along with it’s neck. It is able to reach the highest tree branches with ease. Even the elephant is so unique with its big ears, which helps them keep cool in the blazing sun. Lord, camels are made perfectly with their two humps on their back, in order to transport goods and people throughout this earth. And I can go on talking about how cool the hippo’s look, but how fierce they really are in person. Truly, what You are able to do and create will never be achieved by any mere human. We are also Your handiwork and are created in Your image. What an amazing thing it is to have my spirit be put in a baby boy at birth, in order to one day have me grow up to know You personally. Lord, I do pray that people will see Your creation and give You glory. Everything we see on earth is a sign from heaven above. You did it all, Lord. It is people who are using what You have given us for our needs. Thank You! I love You, Jesus. I lift You up in praise and honor. You are my king and I worship You. Amen.
Sinner’s Prayer (08/31/2020)
Oh Lord, I love and honor You, this day and forever. May Your will be done in my life forevermore. Take me as I am and transform me into Your right standing. Cause me to live a life that is pleasing in Your sight. Give me over to doing Your good works. Lead me into Your light and cause all the darkness to scatter. I don’t wish to be affiliated with the things of this world any longer. Keep me set apart from anything that causes me to sin. Lord, Your ways lead to eternal life and anything else leads to destruction and hell. I choose this day to follow You and no longer be a slave to sin or temptation. May the devil no longer have any power over me. Come and abide with me. Give me over to Your desires and I will do them. Give me wisdom, that I might learn and be filled by the King of glory. I have lived in and tasted enough of what the world wants to give me and fill me with, but if it doesn’t lift You up, I am ready to give it up. Let nothing else keep me apart from You again. I confess that I am a sinner and need You in my life. You are the Lord God of the heavens and I believe in You, Jesus. You are my Savior, and only through You can I go forth in your light unto this lost generation. I lay down all my sins as Your feet, that You may take them away and cast them into the pit. Brake down every stronghold in my life. Break every chain. Transform my life into the person You wish me to be. I am ready. Forgive me and find mercy for my soul. I love You, Jesus. Amen.
Today’s Prayer (08/30/2020)
Oh Lord, I pray that more people will come to You, even as their personal Savior. That people would begin to cry out to You as Job did in his afflictions. Then, would You also come to their rescue also. Too many people are currently living a life of sin, where darkness abounds and death is at their door. People do not realize that playing around with sin is like playing with fire. It leads a person to hell and destruction come death. How this is the time to repent of our sins, while we still have breath. Even if we are living our life for You, Jesus, I pray that this faith will not grow dim. Life’s trials face everybody in life, no matter how strong they are in the faith or not. Therefore, it is up to each of us to continue to call upon Your Name in prayer often. To lift You up above all things and to express everything that is in our hearts to You. Lord, I know that You do not wish that we hold back anything in pray. For everything that we have to say is important. Even if we are currently suffering and what we have to say are more questions than thanks, it is needed. Surely, wisdom is necessary in these moments, though giving thanks is also very important. Therefore, help people know that in our darkest moments to always remember to find things to be grateful for and express them to You in prayer. Lord, I wish to always have You come and answer me that I might hear Your voice, but I know that You also use the Bible and other people to speak to me as well. Therefore, help me to always be found learning from You, no matter what it is and who it is that You send to me. I love You, God. I give You glory and praise, this day and forever. Amen.
Today’s Prayer (08/29/2020)
Oh Lord, I pray that people will come to know You personally. That they will begin to fear You and do as You say. Truly, the rest of Your creation hear and obey Your voice, but only a few people on earth can do the same. How is it that animals, fish, insects, and even the weather patterns obey You, but we cannot do the same? I will never understand why there are so many atheists out there when the truth of Your creation is so evident. How beautiful are the mountains, valleys, oceans, rivers, trees, flowers, animals, fish, and even people on this earth. You are the great and magnificent architect of all things heaven and earth. We even have Your written Word which explains how the creation took place, which is marvelous. Lord, I cannot understand how people that have read the Bible would not have a belief in You also. That their faith would not be evident in how they would live their lives. So many people are so interested in doing their own things, but still many of them say they believe in You. This makes no sense, for to believe in You is to also follow and obey You. Surely, these people are asleep and need to be awakened. I cannot do this on my own, but need You to speak through me and other men and women of God. Fill us with the Holy Spirit, that we might lead them to know You. Keep us in Your bounteous light, that people will see us and also desire to know You and give You praise. I love You, Lord. I give You glory and praise, this day and forever. Amen.
Today’s Prayer (08/28/2020)
Oh Lord, my God, please hear my cries and heal my sister Heather. She is suffering right now because of flu-like symptoms and is not getting any better. Even though she is tested and it isn’t COVID, I worry because of her health. I know that You heard the prayer that I offered up for her at her house. You were with me as I prayed. Even as I asked that You would cast out the afflictions in her body and heal her, You did this with me. Lord, thank You for Your presence and for leading me in the prayer through the Holy Spirit. It was evident that I was not alone in the prayer, for You were there. All I ask now is that she recovers from her sickness in full. Come to her now and deliver unto her peace. Uplift her and help her know that she is loved. I did my best to uplift her and bring comfort to her in my time with her. Now, I pray that You will do the rest. Lord, prayers are going up for her from all around the globe. Please listen to them also. I know that prayer can move mountains and that more people who pray will allow there to be mighty miracles that have never been seen on earth. I believe in You, Jesus. You are my healer and my fortress. Thank You for delivering me from my bondage and for consoling me in my trials. I have suffered much because of sickness also, and You have helped me along the way. If it is Your will also, will You also bring full healing to my body? I have suffered from a chronic chest congestion for some time and pray that You will heal me. I love You, Lord. Only with You in my life am I see free. There is freedom in the Lord. Amen.
Today’s Prayer (08/27/2020)
Oh Lord, I pray that people will remember You all their days. That people will understand that doing Your will one time a week does not make them Your disciple. Lord, help people know that abiding in the things of this world is evil. That we are to be separate and only through Your presence in our lives can we achieve this. Lord, You make us different. We cannot flee iniquity on our own, but only if we start abiding in You each day. Lord, be with us always. Help us gain Your understanding and begin to distinguish what is true and what is false. Lead us far from sin and into Your light. I need You, Lord. Be my teacher at all times in my life and help me to always know Your ways and not my own. Help me to be a wise teacher and not a person who treats other people with animosity or disrespect. I want to share the truth of the gospel, but do not wish to skew the importance of it or change it in any way. May the simplicity of the gospel be upon my lips when I speak. And please call more people in the faith to walk in it. I know that You have done this before, but these people who have resisted You need to be awakened from their sleep. Too many people are on the path that leads to destruction and need to be made aware of this before it is too late. I wish to see more people be saved and come to know You as their personal Savior, Jesus. You are mighty to save and I love You. I give You glory and praise, this day and forever. May Your Name be glorified and lifted up high. Amen.
Today’s Prayer (08/26/2020)
Oh Lord, I give You honor and praise this day and forevermore. You are my God and my Savior. I lift my hands up high and glorify Your great Name. On bended knees do I fall down at Your feet in worship. Thank You, Jesus, for redeeming me from the fall. I had no way of changing my wicked ways, but You came and did the work I could not on the cross. There was only darkness to be found in my life, but You have come and scattered it all. Where light abounds, I am there with You also now. Thank You, Jesus. Thank You for saving a wretch like me. I would not be where I am today if I was not washed by Your blood. What a gracious gift it is to know that You suffered and died for my sins. Wow! Thank You, Lord. I owe everything to You. I am not worthy of Your offering for mankind but come humbly at Your feet in thanks. I bless You, God. Lord, come and abide with me. I love Your presence and wish to know You better each day. Teach me all things that I need to know in life. Guide me by the hand and give me the necessary guidance and direction I need. Allow the comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, to help me stay strong in the faith. I know that there are many evil forces out there and I do not wish to fall victim to the lies of the enemy again. So keep me upright and righteous in Your sight. The world can think what they want about me and my stance with You, but I know that in the end, I will be with You forever. I don’t need the luxuries of this life, but only the spiritual gifts that come down from my Father, who is in heaven. I love You, Lord. Amen.
Today’s Prayer (08/25/2020)
Oh Lord, I pray that people will stop judging one another and defaming their good name. So many people attack different people in the faith when they know nothing about their deep and intimate relationship with You, God. This is very disheartening and I pray that if people have concerns about someone that they will come to the person themselves and not spread lies. And if people come to the person who they think is in sin or has said false things, then have them come to them with love and respect, not with any anger. Surely, a spirit of animosity is never going to help anyone come to know You, God, even if they are wrong. Lord, help people know that we cannot be the ones convicting people of sin, but only Your Holy Spirit. Therefore, we must be led by You and not ourselves. Otherwise, we may be jumping the gun and saying and doing something that we will soon regret. Lord, I have many people who think I am a false prophet and a false teacher, which is hurtful. They say that what I teach is wrong according to their own beliefs. Therefore, people have spread lies about me to other people and then come at me with anger and disdain. Lord, help these people know my true heart for You. May they know that I love You with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength. Everything I do in life is for You. You are my Redeemer and the Lord God of my life. I wish people would want to talk to me about my faith instead of attacking me. Now I know how Job was feeling when He was being persecuted by his friends and other people. Lord, may Your will be done in my life. I need Your understanding from the Bible and prayer. Teach me Your ways and don’t let my views change because of people’s own views on things. I love You, God. I give You praise and glory. Amen.
Today’s Prayer (08/24/2020)
Oh Lord, I pray that people in the faith will learn to watch their mouths and how they come at people via chat/texting also. Surely, to put down another person is evil and does not come from You, but the devil. I wish that people would learn their lesson when they leave from conversations and the other person is now feeling crummy and even depressed. I just can’t believe it, Lord, that people can call themselves Christians when they are hostile towards other believers. This makes me sad that we have these ravening wolves in the church. I say this because I can’t see them as Christians or Your saints if they cannot treat others with kindness and respect. Surely, I know that I was once like them and was very disrespectful to people and I am sorry about my past. Please forgive me for my pride and short cummings. As for now, I do not wish to hurt anyone, no matter their faith. If there is something that needs to be addressed, I will do it with love and respect. May Your will be done in my life and not my own from now on. I know how destructive I can be around others if I think I know it all, so please keep me on the low down. Help me stay focused on You and not be elevated in pride. I am happy to be brought low and humbled in Your sight. It brings me great joy to know that Your will is now being done and not my own. Lord, I admit that I do not know everything concerning the Bible and never will. All I know is that the Bible is true and I gain more understanding from daily it as I read. Your insight and knowledge have moved me to love You more and my neighbor more. Thank You for reaching me and for bringing me into Your light. I love You, Lord. Sinner’s Prayer (08/23/2020)
Oh Lord, I pray for cleansing. That every sin that I have committed this week will be forgiven. Cleanse thou me of every secret fault. I am sorry for going against Your will. Forgive me. My desire is to no longer fall victim to the same temptation again. Lord, I know that I am not able to withstand my fleshly desires on my own, so please be with me, that I may not fall victim to the same sins over and over again. I feel so shameful and guilt-ridden each time that I fall and I wish that You would do something in my life, so that being sinful may no longer be who I am anymore. I wish to live for You and not this world. So give me clean hands and a pure heart. Redeem me from my past life and renew me in this new life that You have set before me. Remove every false belief and speak truth to my soul. Lord, fill me with the Holy Spirit. Allow the Spirit to lead me on Your righteous path. Put in me Your glorious light, that all the darkness will be scattered. It is my desire to no longer walk as the world walks, but to be different. Allow me to become a peculiar and a holy person in Your sight. My desire is to lead souls unto You and no longer lead them astray. My bad example will only destroy people’s chances of knowing You, so please help me to be led by Your great example. Come inside of me, that people will see Your light in me and glorify our Father in heaven. I believe in You, Lord. I worship You and give You praise. I love You, Jesus. Amen.
Today’s Prayer (08/22/2020)
Oh Lord, I pray that more people would begin to fear You and to have a heart to keep Your commandments. Many people do not realize that are doing when they are breaking Your commandments. There is no love in their heart for You, but still, they say they believe in You, which is upsetting. So many people are distancing themselves from You in their sins when they could be rescued from all their addictions and bad habits starting today. Surely, there is nothing in our lives that You cannot break the chains for. We may be deep into a specific sin and it may look like there is no way out, but in our faith, You can take us by the hand and lead to safety. We can only do so much on our own but can do anything when You are leading us. People may think that we are crazy and the things we say we do are not possible, but You make all things possible. Even the supernatural takes its rightful place in our lives when You are in us. Lord, Your ways are righteous and holy. Your commandments lead us out of the dangers in life and help us become a peculiar people to others. We don’t wish to look religious but only appear as Your followers and not the followers of this world. People may come and judge us harshly and even persecute us for our faith in You, Jesus, but we know that this is supposed to happen. For we are not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is the power of God in us. People of this world can try to harm us but after this life, we are blessed forever in heaven. I love You, Lord. May Your ways always be my ways. Keep me on Your path all my days. Amen.
