My Rapture Dream

I am sure many of you have watched videos on YouTube about the day of the rapture. How about searching YouTube for personal visions of the rapture? I know I have. And last night I even had a dream about the rapture myself. It was after I woke up that I felt like God wanted me to share it. So here we go. In my dream, I was in my bed with my wife like normal, while my kids were in their room sleeping. Then, all of a sudden we heard a loud boom outside and people’s voices as well. So we opened our eyes and saw a bright light entering our rooms. This is when I looked out the window and saw Jesus and His angels in the clouds. Every person in our neighborhood was awake, just staring at the sky. Many of them were in fear, while some were overjoyed. It was then that my daughters ran into our room and I began to pray with them and my wife. However, soon into our prayer another bright light appeared in the room. It began to come over my head, as well as my kids. As I was looking up, the light opened up a portal to the outside of my house, where we could pass through. Then, as I felt my body rising, I immediately woke up. And what I learned from this dream or vision, is that Jesus is returning soon. Where everyone that believes in Him unto salvation, will also rise with Him in the clouds at His coming. Now, you might wonder if what I just described to You is Biblical. And praise God that it is, for it helps us understand what I saw in more detail. We will read these verses from Paul next.

Paul wrote, 1“for if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” (1 Thessalonians 4:14-18) My friends, the loud boom I heard outside in my dream was a shout from the heavens by the voice of an archangel. This combined with the trumpet of God was enough to wake us up from our slumber. These verses are helpful to me and anyone else that has dreamt of something similar. What we know is that Jesus will return soon, and when He does, those in Christ will rise up to be with Him. It may not be immediate as some may say, but when God is ready, He will raise up His elect to be with Him in the clouds, with the help of His angels. This is what happened to us as we prayed together as a family. Now, my hope is that this message gives you comfort just knowing that Jesus is returning soon. However, if you are not comforted, then please repent and get ready, for it would be terrible to be found in Your sins on that day.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that we, as believers, will be ready for Your return. I know that last night You opened my eyes to Your Second Coming and also the rapture in a dream, of which I am still amazed by. That vision has left me in awe just thinking of what took place. And I am so grateful to have been among those people who were being raptured up with You in the clouds. What this means is that my life was in right standing with You at this time of my life. So praise God that I continued in the faith until this day. Lord, all I desire is to be with You in heaven. I know that many times I do fall, but right afterward You pick me back up again. Sure, if I continued going down that sinful and proud track, I would not be ready for Your return. Instead, I would be where most everyone else was in my dream and that was in a state of shock and fear. But Lord, even though I was happy about Your return, I needed to also know that my wife and children were saved. That is why we prayed together in the dream that You would receive us all. Now, since the dream ended before I came to realize this or not, I pray that it will become a reality for my wife and my kids of being raptured up on that day. I would feel terrible if they were left behind with the wicked. So Lord, continue to be with us all until Your return. Help me to lead my family by example. My only desire is to see more people be saved, especially those people who are closest to me like my family. I pray that they will humble themselves before You and begin to look to You in faith. Then, can they also be washed by Your blood and be saved. Lord, I love You. You are my greatest joy of all. I give you praise and glory. Amen.

11 Thessalonians 4 (KJV)
1 Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.
2 For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.
3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;
5 Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:
6 That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.
7 For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.
8 He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.
9 But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
10 And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;
11 And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
12 That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
