God’s Witnesses Even During The Coronavirus

Jesus spoke of the times we are living in and what we as Christians ought to be doing. Even in this time of the coronavirus, we are to not stay in our houses out of fear but to continue to be a witness to others for Jesus’s sake. People may not like our stand for God in these dark times, but we continue to preach the gospel to all nations until Jesus’s coming. No matter if people persecute us, we will not stand down, for God is with us. And he also wrote and said this, “then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake. And it shall turn to you for a testimony.” (Luke 21:10-13) As Jesus said, His true followers will continue to be His witnesses, even during a pandemic like the one we are in. And I’ve seen and heard of good Christian evangelists being put in jail because of their preaching on the streets. Evil people are spreading lies about God’s chosen people, lest they continue to do God’s work. Their plan is to stop the preaching, but we know that will never happen. God’s Word will continue to be published throughout every land. There are good people like you and me who will continue to take a stand for God no matter what.

Jesus also said, “settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake. But there shall not an hair of your head perish. In your patience possess ye your souls.” (Luke 21:14-19) Now, is Jesus speaking about You or another person out there who is really walking in His light? You need to ask yourself this. For in these last days, we are either doing a work in His kingdom or doing a work in Satan’s kingdom. We are either on God’s side or the devil’s. So if you are like me and love to witness the truths of God with others, no matter what the cost is, then God is with you also. Everyone who is continuing to share the gospel with their friends, family, co-workers, and people we meet on the streets are those people who Jesus is talking about. We don’t have time to watch or play video games on TV, or spend time on our phone, or tablet. People need saving and drawn to Christ before their time is up. No matter if people hate us, including our family and friends, God is what matters most. He is also our protector when it comes to the coronavirus and we don’t fear death because of it. One day, more people will die for their faith and we are ready to go out with God in us as well.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, raise up Your warriors from all around the world. May more people get on their feet and become Your witnesses on the streets. There is so much fear because of the coronavirus pandemic, but all this fear can be put to rest if people would just look to You in faith. There would guidance and direction like never before. Wouldn’t it be awesome, God, if people who truly believed in You would also follow Your lead? I would love to see more people out on the streets with me, while more people could hear the good news of the gospel and be saved. Surely, hell is filling up every minute, every hour, and every day, and this needs to stop. If more people would witness for You, then lives would be spared from hellfire. You’ve said that the harvest is ripe, but that there are few people who will cultivate it. Even did You pray that more laborers would come? This is what I am asking of people today also. I love it that there was a day of prayer last weekend and how it brought out millions of people to their feet in worship. This is awesome God. I just wish that more people would serve and follow You more than once in a year or one day out of the week. We need people walking in faith daily. Those who cherish reading and studying the Bible daily and praying often. These are those who love You because they also do what You say in Your Word. Lord, prepare the way for me and others in the faith. Lead us to greener pastures. Places where Your word can be published and where many more souls can come to know You, Jesus, and be saved. I don’t fear this pandemic. The coronavirus will not harm me as long as You are with me. I love You. Amen.
