John 15:1-3

John 15:1-3 (KJV)
1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

The Fruits Of Our Salvation

Bring forth fruit unto salvation. This is Jesus working in your life. Dead faith is what keeps a person from going to heaven.

Why I Write

There is a reason why I write daily devotionals. It is because of my love for Jesus and my neighbor. I want to draw people to Him.

John 15:1,2

John 15:1,2 (KJV)
1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

John 15:14-17

John 15:14-17 (KJV)
14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.

Heaven Is For Believers In Christ

And what will heaven be like for those that believed in Jesus, even until death? Well John said the following through a revelation from Jesus Christ.

Do You Love Jesus?

Our love for God becomes real, as we go out in the world and begin to light it up.  We see those people that are in need and care for them.

John 15:12-14

John 15:12-14 (KJV)
12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

John 15:3-5

John 15:3-5 (KJV)
3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

John 15:1-4

John 15:1-4 (KJV)
1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

Fake People And Short Attention Spans

In response to what I just said above, people may say that they are not classified as fake. Just because they like to read what is short doesn’t mean they don’t believe in God or like reading the Bible.

Abide In Jesus

When I look at this world I see many people that go to church, do worship and act their part well, where really their lives are often contrary to God.

John 15:4-6

John 15:4-6 (KJV)
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

The Road To Emmaus

Three days after Jesus’s death, there were two men walking to the village Emmaus. This is when Jesus appeared to them.

God’s Goodness In Us

As we are called by Jesus to “abide in me, and I in you”, the more we do so, the more we will walk in His good works.

The Comforter

When Jesus was about to leave this earthly life, He explained to His disciples that He would always be with them.

Repent And Abide In The Lord

Let the Lord convict you of your sins. Cry unto God and ask for forgiveness. May these desires lead you to pray often and seek God’s hand in your life.

Thanks And Praises To God

Our love for God will grow as we abide in God’s Word. Through reading and studying His Words, we are able to commune with the Lord and know His will for our lives.

John 15:7,8

John 15:7,8 (KJV)
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

Do You Read The Bible Daily?

God’s words are vital to our salvation in God’s Kingdom. They give us the daily nourishment and spiritual growth we need.

Follow The Lord

There is no one like You, Lord. Whenever I speak You listen. You bring joy to my life. I will never thank You enough.
